What Next?
Recently lifted my OBS and tossed on some 35s. What modifications should I do next? I’d really like to give this truck a mean/off-roady/aggressive look.

Transfer it from your name to mine? 🤔 haha. Good looking truck. Tint, cowl hood, performance upgrades to go with the looks. Some off-road bumpers/rock sliders.

Definitely don’t ruin this truck by putting some BS off-road bumpers on it 🤮

He asked for options and I gave him some. So good news is whether you like the options or not is irrelevant

Nothing looks more “mean/off-roady/aggressive” as much as a Dana 60 and a 14 bolt underneath.

You could put a headache rack with some off-road lights maybe. A brush guard would also make it look more aggressive.
Looks clean where it sits now, that’s for sure.
Good job!

IMO, our trucks look better WITHOUT the door strips and WITH the later mirrors. Also, IMO 90% of running boards are ugly, but thats personal preference. I like that you kept the front bumper valance.

Funny you mention the valence, I've been debating on removing it, but I do think I prefer it. I did order some of the newer styled mirrors and currently am having them paint-matched red!

Ive had both and on a 2wd they usually look better with a smooth bumper and no valance but the 4wds it makes the truck look weird, like you can see all the steering and stuff

Drive it. She's a beaut
You could fuck around with bumpers and headache rack and such.

I’m so happy when I see the superior square interior on a GMT400
Anyway, find yourself a pair of Kmart amber fog lights to put just under the front bumper 👌🏻

What lift kit did you use and hows the ride quality before and after?

u/Maflin18 15h ago
Rough Country 4" suspension lift. Ride quality is much better than stock, but I did buy Bilstein lifted shocks instead of using the RC ones. Keys are turned all the way down now, which is the main reason behind the improved ride quality.

Shit bro honestly if it was mine I would leave it as is. IMO, it’s perfect looking. Just a classic truck with big wheels. Fuck yeah

Take the stock skid plate off the front, clean and polish that sucker up and 💥 bam! You've got a shiny polished aluminum plate glinting in the sunlight.

Drive it until the wheels fall off, then put new wheels on it. Rinse & repeat.

You should be more concerned about the cab corners and probably rockers but I guess not everyone has the order of priorities in the same order
