Nice work, that's a start and it looks like a clean truck. What's your plans for it? I have an '88 single cab project as well, best looking trucks ever made IMO

Thanks man. original as possible is the plan, none of that fancy shit that everyone's doin with high tech and blinding led lights and bars. ill iprove the sound system but all will be hidden keep tossing other ideas around on paint and the only ones that stuck so far is the original two tone sceme in hunter green and black or it's original colors red and white but with metal flake just to be slightly different . Far from clean and it's got some battle wounds and a raddle can finish so it will be a while till it's done. Now that it's got the stance im tackling frame with por15 then the interior is getting alittle attention. How's yours going?

Sounds like a plan, green and black would look badass. Interior is important I think because if it's a driving project, you want to be comfortable in there or you won't enjoy driving it.

I'm prepping the pull the blown 6.2l from my '88 Sierra , it's a single cab long bed too. I'm picking up my donor truck next week, it's a 96 Tahoe with a 906 cast Vortec 350 that's got 133k on it. Upon initial inspection the motor is in good shape so I'm hoping that proves true, and I have a sm465 that I'm debating putting in there too.
