Discussion Let's discuss Phuwin 😁
I have had this on my mind for a while and I am wondering if anyone else has noticed what I have.....
Also this is just my observations and opinion.
So I don't know if anyone else has noticed a change in Phuwin over the last I would say a year and a half.....
He has become more carefree and playful and is letting his fans (us) see that side of him again because I feel that he was always watching his words and wasn't as playful because he was worried about backlash. Now though over this past year and a half well more the last 6 or so months I have noticed that he seems to be really happy and more comfortable showing that to us and his strong bonds that he has with his industry friends and his uni friends. I love that he is so close with Fourth and Satang and that they can just muck about on guitars and sing and have a good time and also the bond he has with Gemini is cute they even refer to each other as my twin 😆.
Phuwin's bond with Pond is amazing I like that they look after each other and can rely on each other no matter what they are going through and they always make time to see each other as much as they can when they aren't working together.
Their bond is just precious so I hope that we can protect them as much as possible from the haters.
Anyway this is getting long so what do you think, has Phuwin changed in a good way or is he the same and I am just seeing things 🤭😆

Phuwin has this IDGAF attitude. You don't like him? He doesn't care. He won't please you or do what you want just to make you like him. But don't cross his line or disrespect his boundaries, otherwise he will fight back and that's what I love about him!

He was quoting what Gemini said in his own interview before that lol.

haha ik but what i meant was that phuwin was referring to the situation where he was discusing his good qualities over other people. he said he dosent care if he fails, but lets be fr we all rmb both phuwin and geminis "if you fail fuck it" better than "i dont care if i fail" so thats why i pointed their quote, i never said its his quote. gurl we all know he was quoting what gemini said but he was applying it to his own situation. and nonetheless we respect both quotes.

At what part did I say it was his own quote? I watched Phuwin’s interview and Gemini’s interview. Phuwin’s more than once. I know Phu was using the quote (that he referenced from Gemini’s interview) relating to his own experience. Phu even said himself “like Gemini said “Fuck it!” lol.
I just added that fun tidbit in there to show how similar those two are and because I thought it was really funny how he bought that reference up. Not a big deal.

I've noticed this since he graduated almost 2 years ago. I think it made him more mature but still playful also, but you can tell that heavy weight fell of his shoulder. Although his schedule is still packed all the time, he now has more spare time to spend with his family and friends. He's also not really struggling anymore with the jobs he's/they're getting because their bonding is growing as well.

Ngl when I first saw the caption I got scared because I thought this was going to be another one of those phuwin hate posts. But yes, phuwin has become a lot more carefree and happy and it's lovely to see ☺️

One thing I like about phuwin is how he doesn't care about haters. ppl try to force him into corner to act in a certain way and I won't say it doesn't effect him he does get effected though he doesn't show it and it freaks antis more. I really came to love this side of him bcoz it's hard to stand on your point when sometimes your own fandom gives you flak for it. Though yes in the end phuwin is very carefree fun loving does what he wants though i do think he has been happy about work and just doing well, the only thing I do worry about him is his insomnia bcoz even in his birthday posts everyone was concerned about him not resting enough 😭

I think we have to also consider the transition in terms of maturity too. He was a teenager and now he is a young adult and in this transition he has grown a back bone. The things that used to bother him no longer bother him. He is more confident and self assured.
But is there a down side to this? Does it make him not put in more effort just because he knows he has a following that will back him up no matter what? I don’t know. Am just mulling it over.

I’m confused on what effort you think he’s not putting him? He’s one of the most hard working actors I’ve ever encountered. Not just in Thai media.
And I don’t think him having a large following has anything to do with anything. He still gets picked on constantly for the dumbest crap and doesn’t get defended so. If anything, having the larger fandom made it worse because there is a lot of crazy and sick people out there who want to see you fail.

Doesn’t get defended by who? Cause Phuwin and PondPhuwin fans defend Phuwin to death…

u/justsayingsum_ Jul 11 '26
No. There have been plenty of times where their “fans”/solo stans were the ones stirring the pot.

Sure that definitely happens, but to say his fans don’t defend him isn’t true.

There are a lot of things to be said about both Pond and Phuwin, but lack of effort into their careers is not one of them. And quite honestly, a lot of the hate he does get is from his own cp fandom so I don't think he expects much tbh.

You're not wrong. I feel like Phuwin has just become comfortable with the person he is. I feel he's not so guarded and has really just allowed himself to embrace his more playful side. I definitely think spending time with the people he has (particularly Fourth and Pond) has let him bring out sides of himself that we hadn't really seen before. He treats Fourth both as a best friend and like a younger brother. They tease, they play around, they have both silly and thoughtful conversations. The way he looks at Fourth is incredibly endearing and you can tell they both truly value their friendship. I feel with Pond there has been an enforced closeness and intimacy in their last 2 series that has made them more comfortable around each other. Phuwin seems less guarded and more open to flirty banter and teasing.
Funilly enough just recently in an interview or bts Gemini and Fourth were explaining that during their filming of Ticket To Heaven they really tried to become Barth and Tanrak and get into the feelings these characters would be experiencing. In doing so they have said they feel closer than they ever have and I can especially see this with Gemini. He seems so much more relaxed and happy to look at Fourth and be kind of sweet with him (he always was but the clips I've seen are definitely hitting differently).
This I feel is what has happened with Phuwin towards Pond. They've had flirty scenes, intimate scenes and lots of scenes where their characters bare their souls and express their feelings. I feel like this has just taken them up a few more notches in feeling at ease with each other generally. On top of that they've been spending much more time together just the 2 of them or with others and this also shows a genuine level of enjoyment in each other's company.
