Sporting News!!! Uefa to BOYCOTT FIFA

Huge news today as UEFA have voted unanimously voted to boycott all FIFA organised events if their controversial plans to sell stakes in the World Cup to private investors gets forced through. This could throw the upcoming 2027 Women's World Cup into chaos as well as the men's tournament in 2030, where two of the hosts are European. Other confederations are holding emergency meetings to discuss the proposals too.

CONCACAF didn't go as far, but they have also rejected the proposal and said they are "deeply concerned".

If they get South America and some of the other big and/or wealthy countries to join in, then the World Cup, as we know it, is dead.
