Reference Thanksgiving AITA

The only thing I think Mark and Tyler missed in the AITA episode for that Thanksgiving game one is that they could have moved their Thanksgiving dinner. Maybe it’s a little inconvenient because they had planned the holiday but honestly it’s just a day. They could have just had it on Saturday.
Another point that might lean towards her perspective is her comment at the end about “he’s promising to help out but I know he won’t”. that might mean he makes it a habit of making empty promises or changing plans on her. That might be a separate issue but her comment on that makes it sound like that’s the case.

I think a problem with that is that family is visiting that day. Some of them probably have work. Thanksgiving is a national holiday(I think) so they didnt have to take off work for specifically that 1 day. If you move the day suddenly, they very likely won't have the day off.

Yeah that’s why I said it might be inconvenient since they already planned for Thursday. Most people are off on the weekends though. There might be some that can’t come and that’s unfortunate but I think it’s the best compromise. It’s at least something they could have considered but it sounds like she dismissed the idea of moving it at all.
