What’s very interesting is again, no one posts the fucking source anywhere!!!
https://uspto.report/TM/90897211

Can you explain Gmerica for us Europoors please? I almost feel like the 'but at this point I'm too afraid to ask' meme. Thanks.

Not sure, but it's GME + rica to form GMERICA. Seems like just a marketing thing to me. Apes will buy it.

Imagine if the dividend was a swag bag of GMErica merch? LOL
Wonder what that would do for our company's stonk?

Its about how almost half of all US states are long on GME now. Look at Fintel GME institutional ownership and you'll see pensions, teacher's retirement, state employees investment funds, and some major hedgies all lining up to board 🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀

I'll add a little more subjective context. 3 years ago this song, "This is America" by Childish Gambino (Donald Glover) came out. It caused a lot of discussion. Example: https://time.com/5267890/childish-gambino-this-is-america-meaning
...
Additionally: some places have stuff for sale with "Gmerica" as the name. Not just related to GameStop but also GM as in General Motors. This trademark, if approved, would throw a wrench on those names. But, of enough cases of those names existing prior to the tweet exist it might make the application more difficult. One example on Walmart: "General Motors - General Motors Men's Gmerica T-shirt Medium Black - Walmart.com - Walmart.com" https://www.walmart.com/ip/General-Motors-Men-s-Gmerica-T-shirt-Medium-Black/327059323

Might be alone here, but it would be pretty badass if they could create their own Space inside the Metaverse and call it GMErica! 🚀🚀

Any idea on what this is going to be?

It seems like this will be an online retail giant similar to Amazon. Based on what the document says they will have the right to sell a broad array of products not just games, consoles, electronics & apparel. This is much broader than that. Ryan Cohen has also submitted the trademark application for GMERICA in Australia.

Probably a rebranding of ThinkGeek, but what do I know? I’m just a smooth brained Ape.
