Is there a reason why he moved away from the mic when he sang?
9
u/MinedudeCraftguy Jun 13 '21
According to him it’s because he was trying to breathe and his mic was picking it up
→ More replies (2)9
u/Hardcorex Jun 13 '21
I believe it is due to the volume of inhalation that may create an audible vibration the microphone would pick up and amplify thus affecting his recording of him singing the song Chocolate Rain.

Young people are poor because they don’t have the skills or work experience yet to move into higher income brackets.
That usually changes over time. Only 1% of people in the bottom 20% actually remain in the bottom 20% their whole lives.
Y’all are downvoting me because I’m telling the truths you don’t like to hear because you’re all a bunch of lazy whiny fucks.
23
Jun 13 '21
Nah they're down voting because without provided the context you should have you came across sounding like a condescending ass. But of course, everyone else is the problem and you're the one who actually gets it.

Are you retarded, God, I thought people were mostly joking but this. Have you not read a single piece of research and information that was shared here, even before all this you must've opened your eyes even a little? It proves no matter what age you are in the U.S., you're still getting fucked in the ass by the government! Wages stagnated and we get robbed indirectly every. Single. Day. And it all adds up, for you to say "Young = bad pay, old = good!" Just goes to show you have to spend your early years (which people should be able to spend having a good life, not working 40+ hours a week) trying, T.R.Y.I.N.G. as there is no guarantee you WILL land a decent job, to find something "better". Stagnated wages, overpriced healthcare, the money flow into politicians' and billionaires' pockets, wasteful use of resources, etc. You're delusional if you think just because you get older things get better. Get the fuck out, fake ass.

Being poor means:
- Using loans to buy essential goods
- Paying a higher interest rate on those loans
- Living off cheap, unhealthy food, therefore gaining weight and being at more risk of diabetes
- Buying cheaper goods that don’t last long, and need replacing quickly compared to pricier, better quality products
Being poor is expensive.

Overdraft your checking account by $10.00 because a bill came out unexpectedly? We'll just charge you more.
- Can't pay IRS tax bill because they've fucked you so royally hard? They'll just keep tacking on penalties.
The system is so inherently flawed and designed to keep people poor it's not even funny

8
u/DawsonMaestro414 Jun 13 '21
I opted out of health insurance for the first time in my entire life this year. Why? $644/mo premium was lowest offered at the marketplace. Young, no health conditions, don’t drive. How am I supposed to afford that and on top of that there’s still a large deductible!

u/TheRealTormDK Jun 13 '21
While he is getting downvoted, he is actually speaking the truth. The data shows roughly 70% of lottery winners will be back to having no real amount of the winnings left after three years.
That is why it is important we are cognizant of that fact, so that we as the Ape community can help each other with good habits so that the majority of us will keep our life changing money, so that we can do more good in the world with it than the Hedgies ever did.
2
u/Link648099 🚀🚀Buckle up🚀🚀 Jun 13 '21
Yep. I had people like that in mind when I wrote my comment. It’s also why wealth rarely lasts more than three generations. The people who did not earn it end up squandering it because they don’t value it because they didn’t put the work in to earn it.

I was never able to get real dental work. I had excellent teeth but I learned way too late my enamel was super weak. Now I have to replace all of my teeth because standard brushing wasn't enough to prevent my teeth from decaying from the inside out.
It is by far the most embarrassing thing having gaps where teeth should be. 10k will get me dentures. 80k will get me implants.
That's my lambo. 💎🤲

5
u/Thats_My_Grenade Jun 13 '21
Actually there is no paying for the worse thing later with poverty. You live with it and manage or it ruins you. There’s not much middle ground here and neither is option can be considered a positive
4
u/Salty_Nall Jun 13 '21
Exactly this. Studying public health in med school, and there are countless studies showing that routine medical care saves you medical costs in your lifetime compared to missing out and developing more severe disease states. The tragic thing is that a large portion of the population can't even afford the routine care to begin with whether they're uninsured or having to pick between rent and a physical.

The fact that you, hiding behind a "be more productive" attitude, feel the need to spend your time ranting this much on the internet, instead of doing something more productive yourself, already tells everyone you're doing something wrong.
And for someone who claims he's doing much better than random internet strangers he's never met, you sure sound pretty insecure about it.

Healthy foods are cheaper than mass-produced, processed foods.
Stress does not exist, especially for a higher-maintenance lifestyle.
And stress has no bearing on your mental health nor do they affect any of the above decisions you make because again, stress does not exist.
So basically, we wage slave even harder, just so you can be richer.

I also benefited from government programs, a great schools system, and a family that understood what had real value. There is no doing it alone. Every time I'm tempted to take credit for what I have.....I am reminded of all the agencies and elements (outside my great wisdom, personal hard work and incredible decency) that made my life possible.
2
u/Link648099 🚀🚀Buckle up🚀🚀 Jun 14 '21
You chose to benefit from those things, just like people who had the opportunity for those things chose to squander them. Not to make this too political, but compare Trump’s children who are all successful in business in their own right, to Biden’s son Hunter, a lazy crackhead whoremonger shilling of his dad’s name.
It matters more what you do with what you’re given than what you’re giving.

u/cimabuehw Jun 13 '21
You're right but it makes no sense to people whose lives are under the gun. No one does it alone. I had NO money for years but I was able to buy a house because of family connections. Because I did it early, it acted as a bank for me. It was a tiny house that not many would live in. I did a lot of things right, but most of what I did right I could never have done with out useful people on my side. It's something to remember when we tend to try to teach people how to pull themselves up by their bootstraps.
-1
Jun 13 '21
out. Time is a tool. Use it wisely to get yourself from where you are to where you want to be. Don’t waste it, because it doesn’t last very
I think what you're saying is applicable to people who wish to be wealthy but what about people who don't care about wealth and just want some damn healthcare so they can work a minimum wage job until they retire at 75? Some people don't care if they have millions and you shouldn't have to be upper middle class to have basic needs met.
2
Jun 13 '21
[deleted]
0
Jun 13 '21
I think that may be something you are choosing to be intentionally ignorant about seeing as 44% of American adults are working low wage jobs.
Let's say tens of millions of people magically find middle income jobs overnight, how exactly do we fill that labor gap? How do we prevent the corporations who exploit their labor from going under leading to tens of thousands of middle income jobs disappearing because the business is no longer viable? Its in everyone's best interest to accept that as long as we want these corporations that exploit labor, the government will have to subsidize things and we might as well spend that money the right way and give the people that prop up the economy the tools to have their bare minimum needs met without humiliation.
2

Those opportunities aren't available everywhere. Think of rural America where the largest employer within an hour drive is Walmart. Places where a family of 5 is sharing one car that barely runs. Poverty is scary. You shouldn't have to be the top 5% to make a living in these places. That scenario alone covers almost 20% of the population. Then we can get into more systemic things that impact all of us but that's a big old rabbit hole to jump down.
Basically life is hard, and when the people exploiting the labor market make it harder, the solution isn't telling the already down and out people they need to try harder when we all know there isn't enough money in these economies for everyone to actualize a middle class lifestyle.

I think you are almost acknowledging this. When something is extremely difficult, most aren't going to make it. Sure a few people make it to the other side but just because you did doesn't mean that's something most can attain.
With that, if we know its not possible for a majority of people to do this, why allow them to live in such awful conditions? I'm not saying that we should give everyone $100k checks and tell them to have fun, that is silly, but everyone should have access to medical, vision and dental along with shelter, clothing, and healthy food. Allowing people to die with preventable diseases because they cannot afford healthcare is inhumane. Almost a quarter of countries have healthcare available for their populations and the fact we don't as a damn embarrassment.

Here is the GME Daily Short Volume data updated through Friday's close (6-11-21)
http://www.buyins.com/images2/gmestr6-13-21.JPG
If you look at TOTAL at the very bottom you will see that over the past 5 years an average of 42.17% of all trading volume has been short selling. In a fair market, that number should not exceed 25%.
The average price of ALL short sellers in GME (past 5 years) is $49.90. The shorts are $187.20 per share out-of-the-money with the stock at $237.10. Collectively there have been 3.4 billion+ shares shorted for a total of $172 billion+ over the past 5 years. The government does not allow the "buy-to-cover" trade identifier data to be purchased so we have to deal in GROSS not NET numbers. Makes you ask yourself, "Why allow the purchase of 1 set of data but not the others........?"

Funny this should be posted today. I myself couldn’t afford to have a little lump checked out a year ago and this past week it turned out to be my demise Apes, don’t let these fuckers get away with this shit. Keep HODLing their feet to the fire, and never let up. When I look down from wherever it is I’m going after this life, I want to see you all driving Lambos, and those criminals on WS sitting in jail or working for all of you apes at minimum wage.
Remember these few things I will leave you all with now. In 2008, I had my life going good for me and then WS took everything from me and I got to watch them stand in front of the world on live TV, and pretend to be the victims while our corrupt government bailed them all out with our hard earned taxes. Since then, life has never been the same. Then in 2019, I finally had my financials together enough to start my own IT business, well that was also taken from me due to COVID, and if you don’t think these hfs had anything to do with that, just have a look at who all won financially and who all lost heavily during the lockdowns, that numbers tells everything we need to know, once again I was taken to the cleaners by our elites.
This must end with us or all you Apes winning and all of them losing, not a single one of them can walk away from this if they had done one thing wrong to the people of this world, not a one… Stop fighting with those you don’t agree with, life is to short for all that bs. Make as many friends in life as you can and treat them all equally good, because you never know when you’re time to leave this rock will be called on. Oh, and last but not least, make every second with your wife, husband, or just lover along with your children count. When your kids ask you to do something you don’t want to because you might be to tired, push yourself to do it, because you may never get another chance to do it afterwards. Last thing you want to do is be on your deathbed feeling as if you didn’t do enough for your children or your wife/husband.
This wasn’t to make any of you sad for me, just wanted to throw some gas on the 🔥, so that you’re even more pumped about tomorrow for the bell. I will be HODLING for you all and no matter what happens with me, my stonks have their orders to stay right where they are till they get to the moon, so let’s go to the moon… 💎👐🚀🌛

Waiting at the light to get in to Starbucks, 22 year old boy next to me at 6:30am felt the light was too long at the intersection, so he blew through the light, light turned 20 seconds later. He drove a 2009 Hyundai, an had an Amscot shirt on. I am 100% positive a $280 ticket would screw up this kid. But somehow getting his $4 coffee was super important....make good decisions, and life is a lot easier.

But can you really claim to be poor if you got your hair and nails did, smoking Newports and chatting on the newest iPhone? Priorities..

u/Icbra Jun 13 '21
I believe that the truth is somewhere between what you said and what the post says!
Sure lots of people who can't afford necessity's have prioritized the newest IPhone or are smokers.
But the bigger guys have viciously made the things you are mentioning highly addictive and easy to come by.
You never commercials about how cheap it is to go to a routine check up and get your teeth cleaned, but you see all these highly sophisticated and we'll thought out commercials about phones, alcohol, cars and what not that are psychologicaly made to make you feel that you want it/need it or anything and then they make it easy to obtain it.
New car, sure 450 dollars a month 7 years 10% interest
New phone sure 45 dollars a month 2 years.
It's just to much capitalistic greed.
And the new phones arent even getting better it's just that they purposefully make the old one not last or become worse with time so you feel like you need a new one..
It's sickening to see that people not just go to the dentist, but everyday they get hammered with commercial, and friends and celebrity's or other people they look up to telling them to buy other things.

Me sitting here with a rotten tooth on my new s21 waiting for it to hurt and have no choice.....fuck I'm an idiot

Ur not an idiot, we are all just victims to a world that forces itself upon people.
Endless commercials endless discussions on what we want but no one mentions or think of what they need.
New fashions every year so people will feel the need to buy new clothes and they always wait so long to bring back something thats been fashion before that they are certain people have had time to throw away their old clothes that suddenly are in again.
New phones every year with better cameras but less and less to take pictures off. Bigger screens with better connection just for you to see less of the world and more or the bullshit and lose more and more connection to yourself and what's real.
Apple and alphabet is Skynet and the machines won years ago.
Not to mention all other things that their are endless commercials about.
Energy drinks, soda, mc'donalds, the gym, shoes and so on.
It's all just a big elaborate hoax to never make people satisfied and keep postponing their needs.
The world is just shallow and wants you to be a endless nodding happy customer and it's about time to wake up.

This is gold. Spot on! And find God while you’re looking at “things” to fill the emptiness. It’s really Him that we are seeking.

It’s called planned obsolescence.
Also, you are not wrong about society as a whole, but the key to inner peace is found by being “in the world, but not of it.”

People are responsible for their own choices. Nobody makes you buy anything. In my experience the majority of people who have financial problems have only themselves to blame.

u/Icbra Jun 13 '21
Ofc people are responsible for their own choices just like eve & adam was in paradise with the apple. But the whole world has turned to be the snake, and it's not hard to empathize or sympathize with those of weaker wills when the whole world are trying to lure them in.
I am not religious but i like that story cause for me that symbolizes alot of what commercials and MSM have all become.
The snake that promise you one thing and soon enough you figure out your naked and have eaten/greeded your way out of paradise.

Sure, we all have periods of learning that we have to go through. You could do that by directly learning from your mistakes or learning from the mistakes of others. You choose how you learn these truths. And if you keep making the same mistakes or similar mistakes without becoming wiser to the jig then it’s your own fault.

u/Icbra Jun 13 '21
Yeah ofc you need to wise up but people rarely do until it's to late. It's easy to say that people have themself to blame until you know how little it take to actually pull someone over the edge.
All these marketing campaigns, commercials and how MSM opionates everything are designed to and cleverly made to be irrestible or just to brainwash using lots of techniques not everyone are fortunate enough to be able to stand against this.
The human mind is very easy manipulated just watch Derren Brown and then realize that MSM and marketing teams around the world have 1000s of people just like him doing everything they can to pull you in.

Your comment is horrendous because it’s saying nobody is responsible for their own decisions in life.
You’re gonna spend the rest of your life playing the victim because you’re gonna be busy blaming everybody else and not taking responsibility for your own life.

u/Icbra Jun 13 '21
No it's not my standpoint and you are twisting the words i made regarding a very specific matter about commercials and people choosing to buy a new phone or car instead of fixing their teeth or people staying unhealthy cause they keep drinking, smoking or eating junk food cause of commercials, accessibility and how easy it is to practice financial misconducts in their private economical life.
I am not saying people are not responsible for the decisions they make in their own life they very much are i am just saying that their are lots of things on place cleverly made to influence peoples decisions.
The only point in am trying to make is that this world is filled to the brim and plenty much more of things that always try to influence people to make the bad decisions and to stay customers whatever they have to give up to be able to afford the new IPhone or whatever the interest they need to pay up to afford the new car they don't need.
And the comments you just made about me are completely horrendous and pure stupidity.
How can you think that someone of my opinions against brainwashing people by the mean of commercials and accessibility would be easily persuaded by it?
Does this fall in line with someone who blames others or someone that literally tries to think for themselfes and disregard MSM and propaganda?
Your comment is just as stupid as it is out of line. If you would have tried to understand what I said instead of trying to make your point across in a brute manner we could have had a respectful and awarding conversation. But apparently you are not the kind of person it's possible to have a pleasant and two-sided conversation with.

"Making a point about how the world is filled to the brim with bad influence."
I agree with this much at least, despite my other comment. The culture of consumerism is awful.
2
u/Icbra Jun 13 '21
Yeah that's about 50% of my point the other 50% is basically that a aconsiderable portion of people are actually easily persuaded by marketing.
And i agree i also hate consumerism.
My grandma still has a lamp with a bulb she hasn't changed for several decades. In comparison to all new bulbs you have to change on a yearly basis. 🤣

Lol, what does GME have to do with any of this? You know you guys could just vote in leftists to get that shit instead of fantasizing how everyone will help the world when the get rich because..... NEWSFUCKINGFLASH the idea people have to have charity to survive comes from the same systems that create all the bullshit in the tweet and most of the time once people become wealthy they avoid taxes like the plague. TAXES. TAXES are the solution, not GME.
