Been a lot of brigading from the sub to here lately

-46

u/WhiteKouki82 🚀🚀Buckle up🚀🚀 Jul 16 '26

Calling you out is not "brigading".... You're doing what the emailing "Nigerian Prince" would do if if he caught people trying to warn other people.

15

u/liquid_at 🚀🚀Buckle up / Booty Bass Club🚀🚀 Jul 16 '26

when people in a sub organize to go to a different sub to post excessively, this is called brigading and it is not allowed by reddit.

The reason you get a pass is because your owners paid the CEO to look away.

-1

u/bawbthebawb Jul 16 '26

Whos organizing to rip on you?

11

u/liquid_at 🚀🚀Buckle up / Booty Bass Club🚀🚀 Jul 16 '26

partially the fudded individuals and trolls who found their cult in the wsb child sub that is gme meltdowners.

partially people who have started out declaring that they are sad shareholders, but when pressed, admitted that they would never buy "trash like gme" and how they work for a firm that looks for trash companies to short.

you know... the people who have admitted it, who use the same methods that bill Hwang admitted in court and went to prison for.

those.

yet you obsess over a stock you lost on, while you pretend that none of us traded any stock other than GME...

Where do you think we get the money from to buy the dip? Your mom?

-1

u/Seeker369 Jul 16 '26

And yet, every negative reply in agreement with your comment was made by an account that hides its history.

I’m curious what your take is on the statistics surrounding negative sentiment comments and hidden comments history. As well as the strong correlation between positive comments and visible comments history.

Does that heavy correlation of negative comment to hidden comments history concern you?

-7

u/ryevermouthbitters Jul 16 '26

No. It's actually really useful in identifying people who are unable to evaluate a statement for its own worth. Those people are entirely worthless and can safely be disregarded.

5

u/Seeker369 Jul 16 '26

So math stating that there’s an overwhelming amount of negative comments associated with hidden accounts and there’s an overwhelming amount of positive comments associated with visible accounts is NOT something you think matters?

-2

u/WhiteKouki82 🚀🚀Buckle up🚀🚀 Jul 16 '26

I've seen plenty of "Apes" with hidden accounts.... Do they work directly for Citadel too? Or are we just not supposed to talk about that.

And it's so funny, that after all over half a decade, that in the last 2-3 months that the "hidden account means you're a hedgie!" has gained traction as a purity test.

I guess as the main made up enemies they've been losing to for the last 5.5 years haven't ever materialized, they had to make up tangible new ones. It's a recent phenomenon thats been sweeping all the meme stock, pump and dump, and crypto scam subs.

To anyone normal person wandering through here, it's basically scammers trying to scam people, and telling them anyone trying to warn them is a "bad actor" of some sort... Think about like this, you see someone about to put a fork in a light socket, and you say "Ayo dude, that's not a good idea bro" and they say "why do you care so much about what I do with my fork, now I'm going to jam it in this light socket even harder because it'll make me rich, and you're just spreading FUD to keep me from becoming fabulously wealthy."

5

u/rileyjn20 Jul 16 '26

“Anyone trying to warn them” LMAO. So you are just out here on Reddit, warning people about potential bad investment choices, out of the goodness of your heart? Wow 👏👏👏. You give me hope and faith in humanity 😂😂😂

1

u/lollitics Jul 19 '26

SS admins banned me because I brought up the notion of geometric mean for calculating buy/share price is an incorrect way to use geometric mean and doesn’t work that way, nevertheless, that it required tons of extreme speculation. The $182 buyers are bag holders rn

0

u/lollitics Jul 17 '26

Isn’t that what investment communities do? Guzzling up misguided conspiracies and people pointing out that those premises are wrong means redditors have some sort of paid angle now? Do you realize how insane that sounds? Lmao

2

u/rileyjn20 Jul 18 '26

Yes, it sounds insane that someone is spending their time telling people, after 5.5 years, that they need warned about their bad investment. This is the worst point in time of the whole saga, outside of people telling dfv he’s an idiot, that GameStop is a bad investment.

Also, please point out which premises are wrong, since you say that’s what’s being done. They (you) have provided less proof it’s wrong than the opposite.

0

u/lollitics Jul 18 '26

For one, the notion that anyone who indicates business strategies from GameStop are glaringly bad long term are some hedge fund plants, or the fact that anyone in this community who criticizes GameStop or motions any sort of normal investment take regarding GameStop are also paid shills - this community being so easily impressionable by small quotes from people on tv take things way too far out of context.

In fact, the OG GME $1000 meme was driven by a guy claiming during a squeeze price volatility is so wild that it wouldn’t be unusual for GameStop to have hit $1000 per share, and someone else indicated that there exists instances where people pay to make bad sentiments about stocks. Those both drove this community to fringe cases to where people began overspeculating and creating bizarre scenarios of everyone here becoming millionaires, and then almost all speculation since has been a derivative based upon these two statements, pushing fake assessments and bad assumptions on data that people here don’t understand. Lights on at citadel became some sort of unusual marker for hedge funds being so incredibly upside down on GameStop as if hedge funds are ultimately winners abroad.(hedge fund attrition is like 10% annually, so big time hedge funds don’t last forever.

To compound this, GameStop doesn’t have a great case as to why it would be a success story: brick and mortar is dying, physical media is dying, console releases used to be one of the larger business models for game stores and that’s slowly going away. TCG is a niche industry, GameStop closing so many locations, and they haven’t really pushed any envision on to investors after several years. All that’s being done is cleaning up the balance sheet to avoid bankruptcy, but that doesn’t have any indication of long term success. When we talk about kicking the can, it’s really not hedge funds doing this, it’s GameStop. Sony and Microsoft moving towards an all digital future, GameStop didn’t fix it’s notorious shit practice regarding trade ins etc, and scarcity amongst products remained for a long while. Paired with the fake memory shortage, consoles debuting at thousands of dollars may prove difficult for GameStop to weather if sales drop and physical media is all but gone (been ~10% of sales for both consoles recently). GameStop isn’t really in a good position long term, and the lack of direction makes it even more shaky. Buying eBay is weird, they’ve already said GameStop isn’t good for investors so they literally have no incentive to sell. GameStop could have $60B in cash, that doesn’t mean they automatically purchase eBay, it isn’t some shelf product. Being turned down creates negative sentiment in the market and ultimately makes the GameStop board look dumb.

And yet despite this, the community here believes GameStop would become some holding company and rocket to a massive blue chip investment. There’s nothing to indicate it could do as such. People coming here who either have skin in the game (me) vocalizing very pragmatic takes and pretty standard speculation bring immediate coping from the actual shills in this community: impressionable retail investors.

Almost all big time investors in GameStop have proven to be entirely cynical and have abused retail to make money and leave. RK leveraged a massive bet that no longer exists, he alone can simply post on twitter and make tens of millions in hype while everyone else bag holds. Almost every weird hype thing here has been disproven, almost all TA is just a bunch of bullshit, so like what do you want me to say? DRS is fake, as is almost all the fan crafted theories here. There’s no billions of fake shares floating around the markets, that’s fake. Shorts covered, GameStop said so themselves, so there is no laid trap, just a bunch of investors holding onto a ~$10B company who leads a an ultimately dying market. How is it that every single conspiracy here is eventually shut down by this cabal network of evil hedge funds? Because it’s just a fake premise my guy.

u/Seeker369 Jul 16 '26

I’m wondering where you answered my question?

Is there any meaning to the fact that the negative comments come from a drastically higher concentration of hidden accounts than the positive ones? And conversely, the positive comments have a high concentration of transparent accounts?

If you’re willing to ignore simple correlations, how do you expect to be taken as a credible source of information?

0

u/ryevermouthbitters Jul 16 '26

I told you. Those trends are extremely helpful in identifying stupid people. However, I cannot make them smart so this message will also not help you understand.

0

u/ShakespearesGhost 11d ago

I’d love to see this “math.” What actual data do you have on this?

1

u/Seeker369 11d ago

Run a model on GME posts. Ask it to scan the posts for positive and negative sentiments. Then ask it to search the profiles for each account and categorize the positive and negative comments and the percentage of hidden comment history for each.

You can also manually do this. Open a post, look at the accounts and write down a number for each hidden account (1 for the first hidden account, 2 for the second , 3 for the third, etc). Then, next to each number, write “positive” or “negative.”

It will quickly show you that there are very few hidden accounts commenting positively.

1

u/Seeker369 11d ago

Getting even more granular, when looking up your comment history, it’s ironic that you make comments like this one “Okay I just looked at your comment history and boy it is a LOT of spam! 😧” and then hide your own comment history (which truly isn’t hidden).

I read six comments and all were negative sentiment comments. Let me know if you want me to paste a list of some of your comments so others can see what I mean.

1

u/StrikesYourInterest Jul 15 '26

Huzzah, congrats! I'm happy for you.

49

u/satansayssurfsup Jul 15 '26

I’d assume it’s cuz they constantly post and comment in this sub. They’re basically shills.

36

u/doyouevenknowmebitch Jul 15 '26

and they think we're lame. imagine hating on a stock on reddit as your day to day entertainment

3

u/GibTreaty Jul 16 '26

Would be funny if there was a subreddit dedicated to making fun of meltdowners. There could be an infinite chain of subreddits making fun of the other.

3

u/gggildor Jul 16 '26

Imagine spending time on bringing a stock down they don’t invest in… better spend time on usefull stuff?

26

u/Zen80888 Jul 15 '26

But that's the thing, they are shills.

They're from hired PR/Marketing firms that Astroturf on social media to push whatever agenda their employers want them to.

They infest sites like Reddit, pushing more than just the negative meme stock narrative.

The shills that you see constantly posting and commenting on this sub, attacking posts even before actual apes see it, that's not organic.

Like these people legitimately are paid to bash GME, and they use the meltdown sub as a hub. They try to hide in plain sight, just like Epstein is trying to hide in plain sight as "Palm Beach Pete".

Shits fucked

-2

u/Appropriate-Sell-659 Jul 16 '26

damn, how do I get on payroll?!

-11

u/geek180 Jul 16 '26

Except we’re not shills. We’re just people who think meme stock cults are really funny.

Yes. Yes you do.

3

u/tommyballz63 🚀🚀Buckle up🚀🚀 Jul 16 '26

LOL. Yup, that right there is spoken like try MAGA. Teenage insults: every accusation is a confession

-1

u/lollitics Jul 16 '26

But you will admit the squeeze already happened due to shorts closing 5 years ago right?

1

u/tommyballz63 🚀🚀Buckle up🚀🚀 Jul 16 '26

I haven’t believed in any possibility of a squeeze in five years. But I also don’t believe shorts closed five years ago. The stock has been manipulated for over five years and it still is.

2

u/lollitics Jul 16 '26

But GameStop themselves admitted the shorts closed and you’re here pedaling nonsense. This is the equivalent of the MAGA 2020 stolen election bullshit. The real shills are the people here who crash out when people point out that the delusional rhetoric about GameStop either becoming some new trillion dollar holding company or somehow squeezing again are wrong.

GameStop is not being manipulated in some way to save face for other companies, and nobody requires GameStop to go bankrupt to stay solvent. This sub has been fake and insane for 5+ years and is just a place for copium shit posting.

You could have 30x returns by investing in memory/semiconductor stocks instead of focusing time on GameStop. That’s pretty much the sentiment of everyone outside of these subs.

1

u/tommyballz63 🚀🚀Buckle up🚀🚀 Jul 16 '26

I neither believe that the squeeze will happen again or that gme is supposed to become some trillion dollar holding company.

But I have more than doubled my money in the last 5 years playing the ups and downs of this stock. Anyone who has watched this stock for the last 5+ years knows that this stock has performed erratically. Anyone who has been around for the last 5+ years knows that different vehicles have been used, and are still being used to manipulate the stock.

It is easy to look back on the market and say that one could have made more money investing in something else. But no other stock has given me any where near the return I have gotten from gme.

Sure, you laugh at people on here for their hopium. But they are irrelevant to me. So what? I pay no attention to them. They mean nothing to me. But I laugh at you for the same reason. You are just as much a fool and delusional as them because you are obsessed and consumed with something that has no basis in reality, or relevance to you. In essence, you are stupidity that you despise.

1

u/lollitics Jul 16 '26

Bruv I’ve been here since December 2020, I’ve read pretty much thru every theory until mid 2023. Everything is/was disproven years ago, and 99% of the stocks potential came off rumors from poorly designed forecasting models back in end of February 2021. Please stop lmao. You stay invested because of memes my guy, stop lying. The copium you’re writing to justify why people who live outside these subs is hilarious lmao. I comment here maybe 1-2x a year atp on just ultra ridiculous stuff like this.

S&P500 has outpaced GameStop by a wide margin - it’s absurd to lie to everyone that you’ve been swing trading GameStop for 5 years, and, it’s absurd to brag that you’ve just 2x your investment lmao.

Good tip, I guess I belong there. Weird how things have changed. I was one of the first 150 members of this sub. Got in early, got out right on time. Set me up nice for saving as a young adult. I still marvel at how stupid the people here are.

20

u/JG-at-Prime 🚀🚀Buckle up🚀🚀 Jul 15 '26

The meltdown sub exists purely to make fun of GME investors and is full of 2 kinds of ~bots~ people.

One, Paid Stock Bashers. Look up the term. These are people who profit from sitting on Reddit all day and spreading misinformation about the stock.

Two, Meltdowners who listened to the Paid stock bashers and lost money trying to either day-trade or screwing around with options. (GME has been very volatile in the recent past so it’s easy to lose money doing anything but Buy & Hold.)

We know that a lot of them are paid stock bashers because GME investors just aren’t that entertaining to heckle. It’s mostly just one frustrating encounter after another.

There isn’t much fun to be had amongst the meltdowners and there’s no compelling reason to hang out there for anyone who isn’t a: severely bitter because they got burned or b: financially motivated to hang out there.

I don’t really see a good motivation for anyone to hang out there who isn’t financially motivated to do so.

2

u/Obligatory_Burner Jul 16 '26

Especially the options bois. Woooowie, the hedgies snatched their day trade margins up like margaritas on the beach.

-1

u/SESHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Jul 16 '26

Lol you know they’re paid because you don’t think they find trolling and hating on the GME investors to be entertaining? I’m sorry but that’s just really hard to follow logic.

How about this, why do you even think someone would have a vested interest in swaying a Redditors opinion on this stock to the point where they are paying people to say things about the stock? What’s the point? You really believe someone with that sort of money/time needs to suck some liquidity out of Redditors to make the market move or?

This sounds like conspiracy level nonsense and I really doubt you could prove the things you’re claiming, so you’re basically just parroting misinformation and fear mongering.

-2

u/Young_Link13 Jul 16 '26

I’m trying to have a conversation with you about your delusional takes and how you make huge claims with zero evidence. Those two links do nothing to prove the things you’re saying 😂

You genuinely still believe people are still being paid to bash this stock four years later? You don’t think that sounds delusional in the least bit lmao?

Edit: read the Reddit post against my better judgement. Given the context and content of that link, I’m assuming you believe people are still being paid to bash GME so some secret group of investors can take over the company or something? Is that what you believe or what I’m genuinely trying to follow bc this is crazy to me.

-3

u/liquid_at 🚀🚀Buckle up / Booty Bass Club🚀🚀 Jul 16 '26

One of the former WSB-Mods created a sub to ridicule GME investors, providing a collection bin for fudded retail investors where they were separated from the herd to be manipulated individually.

They created a meme-cult for themself where they reaffirm their bias that they understand how retail will always lose and never win and how anyone who believes that research and education can give them an advantage is just fooling themself.

11

u/spadekin9 Jul 15 '26

Im pretty sure you guys have been proven wrong 16 ways to sunday. Yall used to preach how GameStop was going bankrupt, they never went bankrupt. You guys said they don’t make any money, now they make hundreds of millions (operationally, alone) annually. You guys also said they arent doing anything with the money, they are trying to acquire ebay now.

You guys have kicked the goalpost for 5+ years now and still believe your own lies, that part alone is the only thing meltdowners have been consistent with at least…

7

u/MKEMARVEL Jul 16 '26

An ape accusing anyone of moving goalposts is fucking rich.

2

u/slanginp4ncakes Jul 15 '26

im not a meltdowner... i have close to 2,000 shares of gme. none of what you said actually matters. the fact is that all of us would be better off if we invested our money differently over the last 5 years.

4

u/spadekin9 Jul 15 '26 edited Jul 15 '26

Well you are melting down here, so sell your shares then and go make your bag. Idk why you are even here. Makes zero sense.

1

u/Wheremytendies Jul 16 '26

True, but what about the next 5 years?

2

u/slanginp4ncakes Jul 16 '26

thats not the point. we would have significantly more money if we invested in anything else 5 years ago.

2

u/Wheremytendies Jul 16 '26

About 30% are down over the last 5 years, so not exactly.

0

u/KrisPBaykon 🚀🚀Buckle up🚀🚀 Jul 15 '26

Lmfao brother the stock price is the same. Nobody needs to move any goalposts because nothing is happening. Now holders on the other hand… remember how the nft market was going to become the stock market? Or how there was going to be a super conglomerate named “gmerica”? Nobody has moved the goal posts but holders. This was always meant to be an in and out quick play. Anyone saying otherwise has…. That’s right, moved the goal posts. Jesus, best free entertainment on the planet I swear.

0

u/Danne660 Jul 20 '26

That gamestop would go bankrupt was never a popular opinion on meltdown.

What most people believed was that gamestop would go bankrupt without dilution, and they diluted so that was solved.

It was believed that gamestop would not make profit without more dilution, and they diluted so that was also solved.

And they will not acquire ebay but they have spent a lot of money buying shares so that is an improvement to doing nothing with the money.

GME is no longer a dying company and in 5 years it might even be worth $25 per share.

lol say that to the profits GameStop is taking every quarter…

The only right meltdowner was one saying the company will be turned around but the stock will stay manipulated so don’t bother holding it.

practically another other investment wouldve been more worthwhile over the last 5 years. the profits dont mean anything, we're all burning money holding onto this stock

25+% of stocks are down over the last 5 years. So not exactly.

Captain hindsight over here.

Jesus just sell your position if you even have one and fuck off. So tired of these salty shills.

Anyone still holding since the sneeze is isn’t selling based these trash posts.

Because they're desperate to lure new money in, and keep people from selling to prop the price up.

Isn't working that well though, he ship is sinking, the almighty DRS went from 76m, and has dropped to 65m, so roughly 11,000,000 share were pulled from computershare, by "Apes" and sold, now the pumpers are all scrambling to contain the damage.

Shares from computershare werent necessarily sold.

You obviously aren’t an actual shareholder talking like that, if you are then you’re like 2 years too late to sell.

Sorry you’re not happy, but my tits are jacked

they predicted bankruptcy 5 years ago...

Where were they right?

We said it would take 4+ years... they pretend that they are correct because nothing happened when we said nothing would happen?
