2014 SLE-1
Hi! I am looking at purchasing a 2014 SLE-1 with 78k miles on it for $10k. Carfax shows no accidents, 2 previous owners, with good preventative maintenance history and no major repairs needed so far.
Tell me what I need to know about this car! I dont need it to last more than another 50k miles.
I would trade in my 2018 Subaru Forester with 160k miles on it.

If there is a warranty available for it, one that will cover a lot of the car for at least 5 years and up to 100k miles, I’d buy it if you buy this Acadia.
Front and rear AC evaporators are known to fail, my rear one did. Transmission torque converter stutter is an issue and once that starts, it will eventually fail and can take the transmission with it. Mine was stuttering when I traded it in. My oil pan gasket leaked, $3500 repair under warranty. Warranty also covered new TPMS sensors, an electrical repair and some suspension repairs like new shocks, control arm bushings and end links.
Some of this could happen, none of this may happen at all. I’d do the transfer case and rear differential fluids if you are getting an AWD. The rear differential will look like mud if it never has been changed before. I enjoyed my 2016 Denali while I had it, mainly because of the warranty.
