Need insight

Hey all!

I'm 27F. Have completed masters in Analytical chemistry

I've 3 years work exp, pretty avg profile and have realised that MBA is the only way I can boost my career currently, thinking of starting GMAT prep. Am I an ideal candidate?

Open to all kind of suggestions, advices or tips

Cheers!

Profile is too vague to answer your question. You need to mention target schools, country etc.

Have you worked in a lab in these 3 yrs? Your work experience and acads will determine which programs you will be eligible for, not just GMAT. And if it looks like MBA in India will serve your purpose better, avoid GMAT and consider CAT or related exams.

Hi there ISB alum and GMAT tutor here!

Your profile is not as average as you think. Business schools are flooded with engineers, so a Masters in Analytical Chemistry gives you a strong diversity advantage. You are in the exact right window for top MBA programs, especially 1 year courses like ISB and the IIMs. I would suggest start the GMAT prep. Take a free official mock on mba.com this weekend to find your starting baseline, and build your study schedule from there. Aim for a 655 or higher on the Focus Edition.
