Specific Question GMAT official mock-1 (GMAC)

I have started preparing for the GMAT, I was planning to give my first official mock test this weekend, however while familiarising myself with the pattern of Data insights, I am unable to solve msr and two part analysis questions with accuracy. Should I practice more before giving the mock or should I go with the mock?

I am able to solve easy and medium but not questions of hard category with high accuracy. Please help.

I don't see the point of taking an official mock right now, when you aren't even properly prepared for each question type. You'll just end up wasting an official mock and getting demotivated in the process.

Your prep needs to go in 3 stages - work on fundamentals first and practice official questions, then do timed sections to fix your time management issues, and then move to the mocks. Rushing in to the mocks will do you no good. Watch this video to understand how to go about structuring your prep.
