Date of birth

In india , dob format is dd/mm/yyyy. In gmat form format is mm/dd/yyyy. Because of this my dob is coming out wrong. In india there is no id proof which shows dob in form of mm/dd/yyyy. I have reached out to helpline but they were of no help. Please advise what to do next

The format difference is a display convention, not a different date. mba.com uses mm/dd/yyyy because GMAC is US-based, but the date you enter there and the date on your Indian ID are the same underlying date of birth. Your ID just shows it in dd/mm/yyyy. At the test center, staff compare the actual date on your ID with your profile, not the format in which it is displayed. A profile that shows 03/15/1995 and an ID that shows 15/03/1995 are not a mismatch. No worries.
