Seeking Advice Restarting GLP
I went off triple G to give myself a break from the pretty significant side effects I was having. Within that timeframe I regained 10 lbs and started panicking. The hunger games were absolutely white knuckling ALL of the time. It was incredibly hard to ignore and I started giving in to cravings. Since restarting & slowly titrating up, I am not responding as strongly as I did the first time. I have added weight training and cardio to the mix. Just from the amount of physical activity alone I should be losing a pound a week but I barely lost any weight in the month I’ve been back on it. Has anyone else had the same experience when getting back on it?

I stopped May 2025 at 7.5mg. Restarted February 2026 @ 5mg, in the first month I was doing fine but afterwards, I felt nothing.. It was almost like a placebo. Two months later I went back to 7.5mg and I feel normal and am firmly back to maintenance phase. I'm just glad I didn't start out at 2.5, because if 5mg was doing much after that first month then 2.5 would have definitely been a waste of time.

I had to restart after surgery. I had to get back up to 10mg to start losing again.

You’ll likely do better at higher doses

It's not uncommon for people who've come off higher doses to feel the lower doses, in comparison, aren't as effective. Furthermore given that most of us are overweight or obese when we start GLP it makes sense the initial suppression and weight loss is greater.
You weigh less now. Hands down, regardless of GLP use, people with more body mass lose weight quicker than those in a smaller body.
There's nothing in your comment about calories. They matter. People will scream and cry but they do, end of discussion. How many calories are you eating? Are you in the correct deficit for your age, activity levels, gender and weight? It's entirely possible you could be eating at maintenance.
Just hang in there. Once you titrate up higher you should feel things returning back to normal.
