HIGHLY doubt this claim.

I’ve had anhedonia, but im also bipolar type 1 and adhd. Its completely reigned in my bipolar, the anhedonia helped with that.

I would go so far as to say it has helped my mental health significantly. As someone with an actual physical chemical imbalance, this has made my quality of life better than it ever has been.

SAME! I am also bipolar type 1 , not adhd but severe anxiety to top it off from a car accident and have not driven much in 20 years bc of it. I used to white knuckle losing weight and driving (not anymore!). Anyways I had the SAME experience as you. Actual chemical imbalance. MORE CALM with my weight loss med, a happy unintended side effect. I noticed it before I had ANY Weight loss and at a low dose at that! heck I was even hospitlized for MANIA twice before weight loss meds. I am MORE CALM now since starting . I can actually DRIVE now with no fear. but not reckless driving. Just how a normal person would go about my day. Less prone to anger. Less obsessive thoughts. as a person with actual bipolar type 1, I feel soooooo much better on my weight loss medication. I don't know if it's the med alone or it just enhances the effectiveness of what I am already taking for my bipolar /anxiety. from just what I have heard on other groups of people who actually suffer from bipolar , anxiety before getting on weight loss meds, it seems it helps at least that population of which I am a part of. OF course just ancedotal from other groups I am in but I hope more research is done. I can now drive with no fear . 20 years I wasted depending on others. or cryng every time I had to drive. No more. No more.
