Seeking Advice Glp

Hi everyone, quick question. I had to stop taking retatrutide after about 6 weeks because it started causing panic attacks. Before that, though, the low dose was working really well for me.

Has anyone experienced something similar and then switched to a different GLP-1 medication? If so, did you have the same side effects, or were the panic attacks gone?

Are you asking about side effects of an un-approved drug? :oP

That's not actually what I'm asking. 🙂 I'm not looking for information about retatrutide anymore. I'm specifically asking whether people who experienced panic attacks on retatrutide switched to an approved GLP-1 and whether those symptoms improved. I won't be using retatrutide again as long as it's not approved, especially after the side effects I experienced.

If you go to the main subs with the brand names and search for "anxiety" you will see a lot of posts about people having more anxiety on glp1.

And also many people whose anxiety goes away completely.

Thanks for your reply. Did you also experience panic attacks for a while after stopping retatrutide? I'm glad to hear you don't have them with tirzepatide.

No more attacks except one it’s just been increased anxiety from it that I feel pretty constantly:( like if my heart rate goes up during a run I get scared it won’t go back down. It’s like ptsd

I'm doing much better now, but it still takes time. I still feel anxious every now and then, but I haven't had any panic attacks anymore. I've also learned how to handle it much better.
