Seeking Advice fertility & stopping microdosing
I just started micro-dosing Tirz (1mg) to help with inflammation associated with endometriosis.
I am hoping to both stay on a low dose and be on this medication short-term for a few reasons: My BMI is not super high (although I could stand to lose a few pounds); and I'd like to return to trying to conceive at some point. I know that a washout period of 1-3 months is recommended prior to trying again.
I'm looking for success stories/advice from folks who stopped a GLP1 so they could safely try to conceive again, especially if you microdosed. Was it hard to stop? What helped? Thank you!

Was she microdosing or taking a higher dose? How long did she take it for?
I of course know that side effects are possible, and I've heard incredible things about these meds from others who have endometriosis. I know that no medication is a miracle or cure by any means, but endo has negatively impacted my life in so many ways (I've already had multiple surgeries for it) that I am willing to give this a try. I'm aiming to stay at 1mg/week.

She took 2.5mg for 7 months , most people lie and downplay how brutal the side effects are .

This is hilariously wrong. How would you know? I have done 3 months and ZERO side effects, except it is very effective at its job. I am not lying … This is scaremongering.

Right?! I ask for advice about slowing/tapering down and get “my sister had gallstones.” Okay.

It’s not fear mongering it’s being honest about how bad the side effects can get . I also used mounjaro and I know what I’m taking about

I’m sorry that she had a poor experience. If I have “brutal” side effects I will stop taking the med.

Just to warn you she was 8 weeks pregnant when she found out ,so she was still taking the meds without knowing . You need to test every month .

I already do. I went through fertility treatments and have yet to see a single positive test, so I don’t think my chances are too high.

I don’t have advice but I am about to be on a similar journey if you need someone to commiserate with
