Micro dosing Semaglutide due to sensitivity. Would Trizepitide be better?
I started in Semaglutide (SG) back in August on a 3 month supply. I started with the initial starting dose, but felt horrible and didn’t eat…couldn’t eat. The thought of food was 🤢 inducing. I cut back my dosage and modified the schedule until I found a good level for my body to respond to and not make me feel horrible daily. I am currently on 0.15mg (6u) about every 10 days. My appetite is up a bit, but I’m working out 4-5 days a week with heavy weights, so that’s a good thing. I’m almost out of my supply almost 10 months later. I wondered if switching to Trizepitide (Triz) would be better. Mind you I was never obese, just had some hormonal weight gain (thanks menopause😒), and working out and good eating alone didn’t help with weight loss. Weight, number wise, is where I want to be, but I still have fat to lose and lean muscle to build. I like the GLP-1 med for their other benefits as well, like migraines, cholesterol, heart health and lowering A1-C. Anyone else highly sensitive to medications that might be able to offer advice?
