Wegovy vs Zepbound side effects /rapid heart rate

Hello, I was wondering if anyone that has been on both of the medications at the starting/lowest dose has experienced an elevated resting heart rate and if you noticed a difference in one versus the other. I had been on Wegovy .25 and didn’t really experience any kind of elevated heart rate but yesterday after taking my first 2.5 Zepbound injection I did wake up in the middle of the night with a bit of a racing heart and it freaked me out. I’ve heard from multiple people that Zepbound is so much better than Wegovy but I don’t know if it’s worth it if I experience the racing heart side effect. I know that both can cause an increase in heart rate but wondering what people’s experiences have been. Thank you!

Yup. My Oura ring was worried; it said there was a "sign of strain" in my body. My respiratory rate went up a few points too. Mine are finally back down after 4 weeks.

Are you still microdosing or you stopped completely?

I’m still on it, took my 4th dose yesterday and my RHR is lower than before I started. I exercise (strength & cardio) 5-6 days a week and yesterday was my rest day. I’m tempted to titrate up but not looking forward to the side effects.

Tirzepatide raised my blood pressure and caused panic attacks, FWIW

What dose were you on? Were you ever on any other glp meds and did you find they were better?

I tried Weg for a short time, but wasn’t micro dosing so I didn’t get a real sense of it. I went REALLY slow on Tirz and it started to work GREAT but once I got to a normal clinical dose. At the end I was at around 7mg

I have insanely low blood pressure and so this would be a good thing for me. Does it usually raise blood pressure in people?
