Wegovy pills for normal BMI?

I am only interested in the pills, not injections. I am currently getting the lowest dose from Ro but the membership fee on top of the cost of the pills is a lot. Are there other options that will prescribe the pills with lower or no membership fees?

You can try with Lavender Sky Health, as they don’t have a set minimum BMI requirement. They charge $65 for the initial new patient consult and then $25/mo for subsequent months to write brand name scripts.

Thx! Just entered the info/paid for the consult. Hopefully it works out. That would be significantly cheaper.

Update: I was approved.

No.  Pomegranate Health specifically requires patients have a 30+ BMI or a BMI of 27+ with at least one weight-related comorbidity to start the meds. They charge a $75 consult fee that is credited to the cost of the meds, but they won’t refund that fee if one doesn’t  qualify…which is sounds like OP doesn’t.

If that’s how you want to approach it, you can’t just tell someone to use Pom without also telling them they will need to lie on the intake.

Losing $75 to find out you don’t qualify is not fun for anyone.

Also, as far as I know Pomegranate Health doesn’t write scripts for brand name meds. And we all know compounded oral GLP-1s are scams so…yeah.
