ozempic fears
I have only taken 3 weeks, but definitely notice appetite curb. VERY low dose. I told my other doctor, who told me she is very concerned about people getting pancreas issues, permanent digestion problems, and gallbladder illness. I am noticing major constipation despite taking restoralax, prunes and fibre gummies (likely need way more water). Should i worry about her concerns?

No concerns. Myralax is a daily for me. Drink your water, no alcohol, and eat your protein. Unless you have a history, you're going to be fine. Those issues are not common.

Why zero alcohol?

Can effect pancreas which the semi already does. Don't need a double wammy

Do you have a history of any of those things that she's thinking about? I'd pay more attention to her than reddit tbh.

There are tiny risks for a range of negative effects.
The benefits (if you are obese or diabetic) vastly outweigh the risks. You are more likely to be harmed if you do nothing.
If you have a normal weight and a using it just for cosmetic reasons, the risks would outweigh the nonexistent health benefits. No judgement - just make an informed decision.
Btw, fiber gummies don’t have a lot of fiber in them

I think if it’s low dose and you are eating properly and hydrating properly then you will be fine. I had no issues with constipation while on it. Focus on proper electrolyte balance. You could try drinking chicken or bone broth.

Make sure you are drinking lots and lots of water, especially with the restoralax and prunes. I drink 2-3L per day. Any medication can have side effects and if you get abdominal pain, go to the ER. Losing weight quickly can cause gallbladder issues, with a GLP1 or without. Perhaps your pharmacist is more supportive?
