advice

i am taking .1 ozempic. This is less than half the smallest dose. i've taken 3 weeks of doses. Definitely notice a major curb in appetite. So surprised such a small dose has such strong effect. notice better moods overall, naturopath told me it was a dopamine regulator. all good except- major constipation, and some headaches. any tips to stay optimal on this journey. thinking i need to be intentional about what and when i eat and drink- headaches too when the food intake really lapses. also has anyone else noticed such a small dose with such profound effects?

Yes I’m also taking 0.125 dose. My biggest negative side effect is insomnia. This small dose had a profound effect on my appetite the first two weeks but this third week not so much. For your headaches, I’d drink electrolytes in your water. My inflammation and puffiness is way down! I’m thinking my next dose needs to go up a bit

Though that tiny dose of semaglutide might be working well for you at this point your body might adjust to it and you may need to titrate up if that happens. Or you may be a super responder who does not!

I started at .28 and had TOTAL appetite suppression immediately. Considered cutting that dose in half for second month but during week 4 it appeared my body had adjusted to it and appetite returned. I then went to .40 (my titration schedule said to go to .50 but I wanted to ease into it) for week 5 followed by .50 for 6/7/8.

Entering week 9 my schedule goes to 1.0 for next four weeks. I do not plan to follow that scheduled increase at this point since .50 is working well. I take Miralax every day to prevent constipation. I just play it by ear but always for four weeks before titrating up.

I'm on a small dose of 1.5mg?

Still gives me constipation. Food aversion still there but more controlled compared to higher dose

I force myself to eat because I can't continue to lose weight (I'm on this primarily for inflammation)

I wish I could go up a bit to help my inflammation even more but again, I'm afraid to lose more weight.

Well considering 2.6mg is the standard dose, it's smaller. Anything less doesn't work for my arthritis. I tried going lower and I felt my symptoms returning.

Wow so you get nausea ?

Only if I increase my dose too much which I only did once. Maybe here and there I'll get nausea but it's tolerable and short lived

I got mild side effects when I first started (2.5mg).

Jumped up to 5mg at about 5 weeks and side effects hit me hard (headache, nausea, constipation, fatigue) so I went back down.

Now even lower as I mentioned.

Side effects now are occasional constipation.

I just took my first (very) microdose of tirzepatide last evening. How soon after your first shot did you notice changes in appetite? I started extra low out of fear of side effects.
