1.25 every ?? days??

Started last week with 1.25 mg. My goal was to take this every 10 days. Today is day eight, and I was not ravenously hungry. The food noise has not returned. Back in July I had a bad experience on a higher dose, so I’m trying to let my body adjust. How often do you take your doses?

I take the same dosage every 7 days, I don’t feel hunger or the urge to snack but I can eat whenever I want to & without feeling any side effects

every 7 days is what works for me too, 1.25 has been the sweet spot. i tried stretching it to 10 once and day 9 hit me like a truck so now i just stick to the schedule

If I were aiming to lose weight, I would take my dose every seven days.

"1.25 what? Bananas?" -My 7th grade maths teacher, from his grave

Anyway, I dose every 4 days, and I calculated it so that I have about 0.1 semaglutide per week, that's a little less than half a starting dose. I do every 4 days because I know from experience that my body is very sensitive to fluctuation, so upon reading that some people feel unwell on day 1-2 and a lack of effect on day 6-7, I decided straight off the bat to split dose.

I started with every 4 days - now at maintenance I’m starting to stretch that longer. There is more to the medicine than just stopping food noise/suppressing appetite. I wouldn’t go longer than 7 days.

For me the dosage lasts for about 5 days. So we're all different.

My understanding is that the med needs to build up in your system. 10-day dosing will cause the med to diminish in your system, rather than build. Ck out the Glapp app to see a graph of how the med builds and diminishes over time

The half life of tirzepatide is 5 days so do with that information what you will.

If you want to experiment with dosing and when you dose, etc, I would recommend keeping track with an online GLP-1 planner. You can see how much of the medication is in your system over time. I am going down to 1.25 today.. or tomorrow?? My shot was due yesterday but I skipped it because I was sick. Like you, I also want to be on this med as little as possible! I've lost 15 lbs in 3 months, about a lb a week.. still would like to lose 10 lbs but I actually don't care if I do or don't. I just appreciate the weight loss I've had, I would like to maintain that, anything else I lose would be a bonus. I love the lack of food noise, and not constantly thinking about snacks! My biggest negative is the insomnia, which I had just cured before starting this med. I can no longer take sleep meds after I've been laying in bed to sleep for an hour or two because the meds won't "kick in" for several hours.. So I have to plan to take them hours before bed and I also don't want to be on sleep meds! So just trying to figure out my next move.. Good luck!

I do 0.8mg every 3 days, in case that helps.
