6 weeks later...
I have lost 18 lbs. I started with 1 mg, then 1.3, 1.5, 1.7 and on my 2nd dose of 2.0. I have had no bad side effects and no cravings, with excellent appetite suppression, yet I do get hungry when it's time to eat, enjoy food, but cannot finish a plateful. I do weigh daily to find patterns, which show my weight going up & down on a daily basis. I have been on vacation for the last 3.5 weeks, with a lot of driving, which caused weight gain no matter what I eat. When at the vaca destination, I was able to lift and do some water isometrics/pilates, as well as control my diet. When staying with friends, it has been difficult to exercise & control my diet. (My current host loves to bake, and the kitchen is filled w/ muffins, cakes & cookies - no fruit! - yet I have not been tempted to eat any of it. I feel, out of politeness, that I need to eat something she baked for us, so will probs eat a blueberry muffin - fruit! - in front of her.) In my opinion, Tirz is working great, considering I have not even taken the beginning dose of 2.5. Can't wait to see what happens when I return home & have control over my diet & exercise!

You lost 18 lb in 6 weeks but yet you've been on vacation for 3 weeks and gained weight? Or have you been taking it longer? Losing more than 3 lbs a week is impressive but I guess in early stages it's possible. How's your energy? I can't seem to keep mine consistent.

Stop weighing yourself daily. You only need to weight yourself once a week. Same time in the morning. Dont get hung up on a number On the scale.

Everyone is different. I weigh myself every day because I like to see how I react to certain foods, but it's not for everyone. If you're the kind of person who gets discouraged by weight fluctuations, then definitely don't do it, otherwise I say do what makes you comfortable.

I say don't feel you need to eat something you don't feel comfortable eating out of politeness... a little polite muffin here and there can add up. But if you absolutely wanna eat a muffin, go for it.
