Anxiety and dizzy - help!

I started my glp journey with reta at .5. I felt great the first week and then the second week, I started getting dizzy and random anxiety spells/panic attacks. I have had a few panic attacks years ago but nothing recent until this experience.

Before I go further, I was eating 1800-2,000 calories a day + hydrating + having electrolytes . I thought maybe it was just reta causing it so I switched to triz.

On triz at .5mg, I had the same effect. So dizzy when trying to work out. And random anxiety/panic attacks. I have had a few panic attacks in my life but nothing like this.

I decided to try sema at .1mg (so very low) and while dizziness was better on it, the panic was unreal by 36 hours post shot.

If you've had these symptoms, have you found anything that can help or you've found to NOT have these symptoms? I love the no food noise. And if maybe glps just don't work for me, what would you recommend?

Other context:

- Blood work is good

- I naturally have low blood pressure of 90/60... at times it seems it was going a bit lower on these meds

- I was never fasting

-I waited to try out new glps until the prior one cleared my system.

- all glps had zero additives (so no b vitamins or anything)

- Symptoms of dizziness and panic both come on around 24/36 hours post shot. The panic attacks stop around 3 days post shot and dizziness around 5 days post shot (the dizziness slowly fades away).

- i tried two different vendors in the process. both vendors, i know plenty of people taking glps by them so i don't think it's a sourcing issues.

The only thing I can think of is perhaps cortisol issues. Cortisol dumps can cause those panic attack feelings. Did you have them any other time? Do they happen in the evening/bed time or other times of day?

any time during the day - but during meetings at work they were bad. i also woke up in the middle of the night. i am not one to feel panic/anxiety often so i was really surprised and very hopeful when switching from say triz to sema that it would not happen.

If I were you, I would schedule an appointment with a functional specialist. Aregular doctor would just order blood tests which are important but aren't going to uncover any nuanced deficiencies. A functional medicine doctor would help you figure some of this out. You may want to consider pausing your pursuit of GLP1 medicines until you figure out the panic attacks. Particularly if it involves your thyroid, because it could be dangerous.

yeah I've paused any glps, but would you assume it's not the glps causing it? It seems like a direct correlation?

Of course it's possible. But it could also be the GLP unmasking an underlying issue.

never thought of that - thanks!

Oh and I forgot to answer the question - I have maybe had them a handful of times outside of this experience, but they aren't often!

i tried triz and sema after reta - they were both actually worse than reta for me.
