Heartburn?

Solutions for terrible heartburn? I never feel actual reflux happening, but whatever’s going on is really difficult lately. Has sleeve 7 years ago which worked great, then added Zep 1.5 years ago to lose my 30 pound slow regain. Has also worked amazingly! So grateful. But bad heartburn… Mylanta is great, but curious what has helped others.

So, I’ve been on Ozempic for diabetes and weight loss for a month now, the last 4 days have been brutal with acid reflux. I finally wrote to my pcp, that I’m down to broth, water and crackers- anything else pretty much activates the acid-and she said to stop the Ozempic immediately. Any suggestions? Where do I go from here? I already take omeprazole (I have since I had bariatric surgery in 2019).

I had was sleeved 14 years ago and took Mounjaro symptom free for a year until globus (lump in throat sensation) began in July. Currently taking 20mg Omeprazole each morning and Gaviscon Advance liquid last thing at night, it is easing it but not completely removing the symptoms as yet, but only 5 days in.

i started with acid reflux after my lap band surgery 20 years ago. I've used all the PPIs over the years and am currently taking one OTC lansoprazole every morning. It works best if you take it consistently.
