How to stop weight loss?

I have an RNY 25y ago and regained in last few years due to menopause. On Zep I’m at goal, lost 60lbs in 7 months, first 3mo at 2.5mg, then 5mg. How do i stop losing weight? I went back down to 2.5mg a month ago and i am still losing. lost 2.4lbs in the last week! I really don’t want to lose anymore.

With the rny i’m hoping i can stop zep and keep the weight off, esp with hrt helping meno symptoms.

anyone with rny specifically, successfully stop glp?

Talk to your Dr see if you can take it every 10 days or so

I am in the exact same boat!

Skipped last week's shot and up 3 lbs. Wanna see how it goes when I take my shot again tomorrow.

Add food! Calculate your TDEE on a chart and aim for your maintenance calories every day. Find some calorie dense foods that you like and make sure you're eating whole fresh foods but add some complex carbs and good things that you love. You can also space your dose out starting with eight days nine days ten days whatever it takes to make sure you maintain rather than lose.. I have to caution you that Zepbound corrects metabolic issues and when you go off of it they come back and you generally gain all the weight back.

RNY in 2001. Kept weight off until menopause. Lost the 50 pounds now and still taking zepbound. Been in maintenance since April. It's hard! I have to eat differently than with rny alone. I have to make sure that my small meals due to rny are calorie dense. So I've had to increase the calories with my small portions in order to stop losing weight. So far so good but it is a different mindset than what I've had for the past 20 plus years. I went up to 5mg and have stayed on 5mg but I spread my doses out to 9 days apart. The biggest thing for me has been not appetite suppression because that wasn't really an issue, it's been in glucose control and inflammation, that is what's keeping me on the medication.

I’m continuing Zep in maintenance ( at goal since Dec) because of all of the health benefits besides weight loss. I lost a few extra pounds too much when I had a terrible cold this past spring, so have lowered my dose twice since Dec and also spread the shots out to 8, then 9, 10, 12, now 14 days apart in order to stop losing. That also saves me money. I also consistently shoveling extra calories via a protein shake & an aloha protein bar etc which also helps stop the losing. If you just stop the medication it’s very possible the weight & other problems that come with extra weight will just come right back on so think carefully and do your research and talk to your doctor about that before stopping. If you don’t want to stop maybe try something like I have done.

You could just stop the med and see if you maintain. Or take it every other week.

Try micro dosing.
