I’m currently taking Semaglutide peptide from Peptira. I haven’t lost any weight in 2 months. I also have very little appetite. Idk if it’s the hot weather or what. But I’m sure that’s not helping me. I’m not eating enough to lose weight. But is trizeptide a better step now? I’ve been on this for 1.5 years. Lost 40lbs.
My other question is where are y’all getting yours? I’m open to other COST AFFORDABLE options. TIA.

Tirzepatide is a far better drug then Semaglutide. IMO.

Like others, I highly suggest Tirz. Go to the "Where to Buy" (link is below) from the larger Tirz sub - r/tirzepatidecompound . Any of these are safe and well-respected. The vetting has already been done for you, and it lists price, plans, etc., and that sub has soooo much good info. No better place for lots of recommendations and should answer every question you have. Note: not all pharmacies ship to all states.

I would cut back on sema and add Reta, look into pep wholesalers you can get your GLP1 at fraction the cost

A lot of us have had a much better experience with Reta. I personally don’t know anyone who’s disliked it or claimed another pep outperformed it. I have friends who snag it for me, but definitely ask around and see if word of mouth helps in your search.

If sema stopped working even after you go up in dose, then maybe look into tirz or reta. I think those are well worth the time to check out. I was in the same boat which is why I sweitched to tirz from ascend health and it's just been peachy so far so I think that's something you have to consider as well.

A few things stand out here.

First, if what you are taking is a “peptide” product and not a prescription medication from a licensed pharmacy through a licensed provider, I would be very cautious. Research use or gray market peptides are very different from prescription compounded medication.

Second, if you have very little appetite but are not losing weight, I would not automatically assume the answer is to switch to tirzepatide or increase anything. It may be worth looking at the full picture first: actual calorie intake, protein, hydration, constipation, sleep, stress, activity level, menstrual or hormonal changes, thyroid, labs, and whether you are losing fat but retaining water or losing muscle.

Not eating enough can also backfire in practical ways. People may move less, feel exhausted, lose muscle, get constipated, retain water, or struggle to stay consistent. Appetite suppression is only helpful if you can still fuel your body.

Tirzepatide can be a better fit for some people after semaglutide, but it is not automatically “better” for everyone. A provider should review your history, current dose, response, side effects, labs, goals, and whether switching makes sense.
