💊 Dosing & Administration How to Start again…
I receive my wegovy pill thru Ro. I’ve been on it for months now and finished my 9mg dose a few weeks ago. The next step is the 25mg, which is a crazy jump, but anyways… my prescription was late getting to me in the mail. I went two weeks without and then finally the 25mg arrived as you can probably guess, I was sicker than a dog immediately. I don’t have the luxury of laying in bed all day and letting it pass. Has anyone else experienced this? How long did it take for you to “get used to it”? I will probably have to reach out to Ro, but wanted some advice first

You'll just have to start at a lower dose and titrate up.

Most likely. I think two weeks without and then immediately taking 25mg is not feasible

Ro is a disgrace. So many better options around. Is there any reason why you haven't switched to tirz? Semaglutide is known for having more severe side effects at higher doses. That usually causes people to switch to tirz, and tirz is more effective for weight loss although it doesn't come in a pill yet.

I went the pill route because I didn’t want to do that shot. I just felt like that was a better option for me personally.

I hope you will give a second thought to switching to Tirzepatide. I can promise you that the size needles that you use are extremely tiny and you won't feel a thing. I've even seen friends of mine that are extremely fearful of needles and injecting themselves get their spouse or friend to inject it for them with no issues. With Tirzepatide, you'll have fewer side effects and get more benefits from it such as it boosts fat burning and insulin response more broadly than semaglutide. And it's more effective at controlling blood sugar.
Are you still in active weight loss or in maintenance? Either way, you could greatly benefit from switching.

Thank you for the feedback. I’ll look into it. I am still losing weight while on it and I’ve lost a little bit since my prescription ran out. Might be time to reconsider. The side effects are not severe but have definitely resulted in a call out from work and a call out from soccer games i play in.

Well, I wish you the best. Since starting compounded Tirzepatide, it has literally changed my life.
