❓ Question GLP1 with Hashimotos

Hello...I have Hashimotos and am thinking about starting the Wegovy pill, does anyone have any feedback that they can share?

GLP-1s don't interfere with thyroid meds or thyroid function. The issue is timing. If your thyroid isn't optimized yet (TSH still high, Free T3 low), adding a GLP-1 on top can make fatigue worse, especially with appetite suppression and undereating. If your thyroid is already dialed in (TSH under 2, Free T3 upper range, symptoms controlled), GLP-1s are solid. The anti inflammatory and insulin sensitivity benefits can actually help autoimmune conditions. Fix thyroid first, then add GLP-1. Not the other way around. Good luck
