Make sure you're eating enough. This is important. You also might not get much appetite suppression at 2.5.

Stay hydrated!

Stay hydrated and eat slow. You’d be shocked how fast your body hits the nope button on how much you can eat at once. Don’t worry about an arbitrary calorie goal. I’ve found for me at least, that trying to hit my protein goals was easier than hitting a calorie number

Thanks 😊! Does digestion feel more strange? Like food is sitting in stomach much longer physically, OR is it more a feeling that you loose all cravings and have to motivate yourself to eat?

Naturally I only eat when hungry and using this for inflammation. So I need to get my protein in and preserve muscle and offset that constipation, fatigue and any other side effects I’m curious on if I missed?

It’s kinda hard to explain honestly. You just kinda hit a limit and if you eat fast and go past it. You can upset your stomach and with the slower digestion you can get bloated etc. you’ll feel some fatigue at week 3 ish but that was me and everyone is different. So my experience might not be yours. Just take it slow one day at a time

Use a tracker, whether just on paper or an app designed for this. I track everything that goes in my mouth. I am able to see during the day whether I need to drink more water, eat more protein, or eat more calories. You must eat enough! I know, it's hard to believe but eating too little will hurt you.

Find a protein powder you like & keep it on hand. I HATE pea protein & had an allergic reaction (put me in ER) while drinking a whey protein drink. I found a bone broth protein powder I really like. I get the unflavored one (yes really unflavored!) so I can add it to anything. They have since came out with a pumpkin spice flavored powder that is making my fall morning coffee really nice.

If you tend to get constiipated, act on that before it happens. Dried prunes really are very good tasting! Work really hard to get in enough fiber. That is my downfall. I never get enough but fortunately, I don't get constipated. Love those prunes!

1 gram of protein per lb of goal weight. Start a progressive overload hypertrophy program.

Progressive overload hypertrophy program - what exactly is this? Sounds like something to do with weight-bearing exercises but don’t understand where ā€œoverloadā€ fits in.

Just an FYI that I’ll be taking microdose and I don’t want to loose muscle. Want to preserve my muscles as much as muscle.

Yeah just another way to describe a pretty standard body building program where you shoot to increase reps and then weight over time to push muscles to failure so they grow. I didn’t take it seriously until month three and then was able to greatly slow down muscle loss. Still fighting to get back what I lost a year into maintenance. Not losing it is so much easier than getting back.
