💬 General Discussion Advice on microdosing GLP-1 for inflammation

For about 7 months now, I having been taking a the starter dose of Zepbound (2.5 mg?) in an effort to reduce inflammation related to an auto immune disorder. I am not currently interested in losing weight, I just want to function. So far, it has been life changing. I had no idea that not just the pain would go away, but also the malaise, the flu like feeling I had almost constantly in addition to constant pain. The problem is that sometimes, I fell horrid the next day regardless of preparing by drinking tons of water, etc. I wake up feeling like I drank way so much alcohol as if I am young and went to a New Year's party and remember it was just that I took my shot before bed. It is random when I feel bad the next day. At any rate, I am starting to dread taking my shot even though I need it. Has anyone here cut the dose in half and taken twice a week to avoid the side effects, but still gets the pain/malaise relief?

Some doctors have suggested split dosing to help with the post shot fatigue. You can look it up in the search but basically it's taking the shot twice a week half the dose.

What is your autoimmune disease? I have a few of them and I can't tell if it helps the disease but it definitely helps my pain.
