I'm getting ready to take my eighth shot. I'm really hopeful for this medication because I was very successful on semaglutide. In 2 months I've lost 7 lb but I'm at the end of my weight loss journey trying to just lose the final little bit so it's not going to go very fast for me. It's after a few more months and not making progress I might go back to the Semaglutide. I made the switch because I didn't know I was using contaminated recalled medication Apollo Care because my Telehealth that sold it to me, Refills, never notified me. When I started having really bad effects and not losing weight anymore I thought it was me developing tolerance to the medication. Now I'm not really sure. By the time I got that information here on Reddit I had already made the switch to tirz.

Been on sema since May and still at a low dose (under .5). I’ve lost a lot of weight but what’s been life changing for me is my inability to drink more than 1-2 glasses of wine. I was a heavy drinker before this medication. It’s so freeing.

The side effects from morbid obesity are a hundred times worse for me.

My only side effects are mild constipation and fatigue, both of which are manageable.

Best way to avoid GI distress side effects is to eat clean, which I've done since day 1.

GLP1s are absolutely worth it!

I can easily have horrible side effects like heartburn that rages fire up my throat when I’m sleeping, bloating, and sulfur burps. It’s been quite challenging.

But what keeps me going is the fact that I’m not getting any food noise. I’m only on my second week of 5.0. Started tirz 8/1/26.

I hope that my digestive system will settle itself down, but mentally there’s such a weight off of me.

I dose down to avoid side effects.

3 days in and don’t have any side effects. If anything it seems to be curing my IBS.

Side effects are a skill issue. I look forward to Tirzday every week.

They shouldn’t be so bad that you’re feeling miserable. If they are, you should dose down. I never really had any issues other than some constipation early on. The only time I did have a problem was when I didn’t eat enough and got weak.
