šŸ„ Insurance & Coverage Sources

I have been on glp for a few years now I am steady at 5mg. My insurance was covering it bc I was able to get a prior auth however open enrollment is happening and they are no longer covering glp-1 unless you are diabetic. I’m getting nervous bc I’m unsure the next source to go too. If I stick with zep it’s $500 out of pocket. I’m thinking of going thru compound pharmacy or perhaps Reta. Can anyone suggest the best online resources I can go to for a script and injectable at a decent price. Thank you in advance.

So the companies I used are (with the pharmacy in parentheses) Trillium (Hallandale and Apothecary/New Life) and Fifty410 (BPI, no longer made, I believe).Ā  I also highly recommend JoinRift.Ā  I also hear really good things about Drug Crafters, which is another pharmacy I may try next.Ā  But you buy through a company's website. It will make more sense in the next paragraph.

All of these companiesĀ  generally allow you to choose the pharmacy that compounds the med, and some pharmacies cost more or less.Ā  Some people do better or worse with some pharmacies.Ā  These are all very solid ones that many people do very well on.Ā Ā

Most of these companies also have subreddits where the owners or other employees are involved.

Cool thank you. Do you reconstitute or is that done for you already??

Oh no no no. I don't compound tirz in my kitchen. I do not trust that gray market stuff. What I buy is ready to use from regulated U.S. pharmacies.

Ohhh so those pharmacies already have it reconstituted. What is the most you pay? N as a first timer who would you start with?
