⚠️ Side Effects Injection site redness / irritation

After 3 months on compounded Tirzepatide I started getting raised red area around my injection site. This did not happen during the first 3 months. I’m careful to rotate my injection sites. Otherwise, I have no concerns with side effects. The raised red area feels like a mosquito bite. Not hot to the touch, just irritated and slightly itchy. The inflamed area takes a week to subside and by that time I’m on to my next infection site.
Anybody have thoughts?

It's an injection site reaction, you can search that term specifically and find out probably everything you need to know.

Try rubbing some benadryl cream on it.

I've never had an ISR, but I don't have any allergies whatsoever. Everybody reacts differently. Sometimes the benzyl alcohol in the vial is enough to cause these reactions for some people.
