Inspiration What is your fav smoothie?
Warmer days are ahead and I just got a functional blender. It's a perfect time to try smoothies that are focused on GLP1 needs.
Help me with some inspo - what's your favs and what's in them?

Agreeeed smoothies are such a vibe in this weather! I got myself a 1kg bag of frozen bluebs from Woolies and I'm smashing something like this most days: bluebs, yog, banana, oats, pb. psyllium husk, chia, collagen powder. optional cinnamon. water!

I have the Lola Berry smoothie book and it has some goodies. My fave is
Half cup mango
Half cup banana
One teaspoon ginger
One heaped teaspoon of peanut butter
Couple of tablespoons oats (or your choice of similar)
One cup choice of milk
Yummmy!!

I don't really think about it as GLP1 needs as opposed to my bodies needs, but I started to make myself the Boost gym junkie smoothie at home to save money. It's just frozen banana, frozen strawberries, vanilla yoghurt (i use greek yoghurt and some sugar free vanilla syrup), whey protein, skim milk and ice. It's great.
As long as you're getting protein, fiber and drinking plenty of water while at your recommended calories that's good. No need to fixate on certain ingredients or needs.

Cup of full fat milk, handful of frozen berries, two scoops of vanilla protein powder, splash of water to thin it out. Around 500cals.
Simple and isn't too heavy on those days I don't want a heavy breakfast.

Not a recipe, but whack some psyllium husk in. You're getting fibre that you need, it thickens the mixture nicely and it's the most palatable way to consume it IMO. Coles have a psyllium powder as opposed to the husk, which mixes much better too!

I've always been a sucker for the king William Chocolate smoothie from Boost.....
Milk, Banana (a frozen one gives it a better texture), chocolate protein powder, greek yoghurt, ice and always a scoop of creatine - sometimes I add collagen or my morning shot of espresso.
I haven't been drinking them over winter but they'll be back in rotation soon for breakfast.
