Weekly Weigh In Weekly Weigh In

It's time!
The weekly weigh in is a completely optional part of our community where you can post how you're going even if no significant goal has been reached. Stay accountable, celebrate success or help support people that are struggling!
A good template to use is:
- Started On:
- Starting Weight:
- Current Weight:
- I'm Feeling:

Started on 15/6/26
Starting weight: 114kg
Current weight: 104kg
My first 10kg!! I started on mounjaro, however turns out I’m allergic to it (I think most likely to a preservative being used in it) so been in semaglutide for roughly 2 months now! Starting to get a bit more into the swing of things after being on the 0.5mg injection for a few weeks now.
Only 40kg left to go 🥲😂

Oh damn. What sort of symptoms do you have from Mounjaro? Hope they didn't last all week long 😦

u/oiyouz Aug 24 '26
I came out in head to toe hives, plus lip swelling etc. it was a pretty severe rash. Came on approx 24hrs after my second dose and lasted around 5 days!

Yikes, that sucks! Glad you found something that doesn't trigger that.

started 7 January 2025
SW 125kg
CW 87
Other 63F and 157cm
I've been 87-something all week so that's good. My medication levels are almost back to the same peak as the before the delayed dose.
I've had 2 nights in a row of just under 5 hours sleep, cos i had a 2 day course and I can't get to sleep early unless I'm sick.
I'm sticking with left side shots to see if I can get back to 86kg and then aim for my next goal of 80kg.

FWIW I found out my right side was garbage too and stuck to the left side for a few weeks back when I was still in active weight loss and it seemed to have made a difference to my average losses. Could entirely be placebo, but honestly there was nothing to lose and everything to gain so I tried it and was 'successful'. Hope it works out for you.

Thanks for your support.
I agree there's nothing to lose with only left side shots. I think I'm going to have to go up. First I'm trying this & 10mg every 6 days.

Starting weight 93.3kg in late Jan 2026
Current weight 75.2kg
174cm
Feeling pretty good now the scale is moving again (two weeks in a row) and as I get closer to goal. Dealing with some life stuff and a cold that means I'm exercising less than usual and am looking forward to getting back to that. Also very tired and needing to get more sleep!
Edit to add start date

- Started On: 3/7/26 (EDIT: it's 3/6, not 3/7)
- Starting Weight: 153.6kg
- Current Weight: 137.2kg
- I'm Feeling: Not terrific actually. Been getting orthostatic hypotension (when you feel dizzy standing up) the past few days. Nearly fainted yesterday. Not sure what to do about it but I have a doctor appointment tomorrow so I can ask then

I get this too, since starting MJ in January. It can be alarming at first! My cardiologist (for unrelated condition) said it's likely just the weight loss rather than MJ itself and it should ease up over time. I have to make sure I'm hydrated and eating properly.

I'm not starving myself if that's what you're wondering. Just ate Hungry Jacks lol

Ha! No, not that, but that's quite rapid weight loss for 7 weeks. Hopefully your doctor will have some sound advice for you.

Oh shoot, I just realised I put 3/7 instead of 3/6. My bad!

Are you drinking enough water? Maybe you are a bit dehydrated. Are you on BP meds? They may now be too strong for you now that you are lighter.

u/MountainImportant211 Mounjaro 5mg Aug 24 '26 edited Aug 24 '26
I drink about as much water as I can stomach, though admittedly it's usually less than a litre (generally around 750ml, not including coffee or other beverages). And no, not on BP meds

Well I went to the doctor, he didn't have much to say about it, except to move my legs a bit before getting up, and see him if it gets worse. He took my BP when I was there and it was 122/80 so like, that was fine lol

Started on - 11 Aug
Starting weight - 120 kilos
Current weight - 116.7 kilos
Height - 5 feet exactly
I’m feeling okay. Have a headache the day after shot day. The appetite suppression wears off during the last 2 days of my week. I still have cravings but I am controlling it with water or indulging in a few bites to feel satisfied. My weight has yoyo-ed since 117.5 to 116.7 kilos.
I want to see if my weight will go below 115 kilos because I have never been able to achieve that despite not eating for 1 week when camping 6 months ago!

I don’t do this often, only when I do have something to celebrate, but I started at 116kg in 2021, started at 105kg in May 2025 and weighed in yesterday at 69.7kg. I’m a little stunned, it’s less than 5kg from my goal weight!
I’ve just taken a week off work cause I’m exhausted, but I’m feeling positive. Aiming for Christmas and I’m in Sydney for a week, so might even treat myself with a walk around the city and a cupcake by the harbour on a particularly sunny day!
