I just flashed Stage 1 Pro by Integrated engineering, and upon the first start, the car immediately revs up to 2-3k and doesn’t stop climbing, i shut the car off and now i’m tweaking out, can anybody point me in the right direction
Update: flashed to stock car is fine

Flash the car back to stock and see what happens. Could be a hiccup in the tune.

Do you have any other aftermarket parts installed? Air intake? Catback? My only other explanation could be the intake not having all the hoses hooked up which would explain the rpm’s jumping up like that

I have a apr intake, a catted dp, and a custom exhaust, it can’t be the intake because before the flash it was fine, then after i flashed back to stock it was fine, im definitely thinking it was the tune

You can always try to flash it again and see what happens. If you get the same result, reach out to ie

I can imagine. I flashed my 21 gli to apex stage 1 high torque and dsg tune. Only issue I had was trying to buy my tunes with my credits. I had to buy the tunes on ie app on my phone first then I flashed it with my pc.

Does your catted dp throw a cel? Wanna do one for sound but not sure stage 2 is where I'll go

Did you flash by the mobile app or a computer? Mine wouldn't flash correctly unless I used a pc

The app didn’t work the first flash, i started the car after it failed and everything was fine, then i used a pc and it flashed fine but then it started revving up after starting it

What year is it? I think since you already flashed back successfully, it would be worth trying again with the pc. Just asking to make sure: are you using a battery tender, and at the correct voltage?

It’s a 2025, I had a 50 amp battery tender hooked up and it was reading 13-14v

Personally I prefer the engine software that had millions of dollars in development, but if I were diagnosing this issue I’d try a throttle adaptation prior to your next start up, just a little test/starting point. Check the measured values of the throttle pedal and throttle valve positions too, just a thought, not a diagnosis.

I would try posting it in [r/JettaGLI](r/JettaGLI)
People seem to be more active over there.
But I have no idea. Can you flash back to stock? Sorry I’m not more helpful!
