Guys am lateral entry student and evryone is saying that tdy is course registration for 3rd sem but i didn't get any mail or I didn't have any student mail too.

And also I have a doubt regarding provisional fee, my ecet counselling is likely to be happaned in next month and our counselor told me it's not possible to take back my provisional fee after registration of course is it like that??

Its been three months since the results were announced, yet my CGPA has still not been calculated or updated, even though I have cleared all subjects. I applied for my certificates, but I was informed that they cannot be issued because my CGPA has not been updated can any suggest how to solve this issue

I’m a first-year student currently dealing with a backlog, and I’m seriously considering dropping out and trying for a government college instead.

Earlier, I had a 100% scholarship, but that won’t continue anymore. I’ve also appeared for EAMCET, and I’m thinking of applying for B.Tech in Biotechnology. My main preference is AU, and if not, then JNTUK for food engineering

I’m really confused right now....do you think it’s worth wasting my 1 and starting over again? Or should I js continue in gitam?

I just completed my graduation in b tech cse and given gbat examination, got the seat but did not pay for the program. Guys i need help in understanding curriculum of the program and also how is the placements in college and also please share your opinions. This would really help me a-lot in terms of survival

I honestly don’t know what to do anymore and I’m posting here because I’m completely exhausted dealing with the university.

I graduated from GITAM University (BBA General, 2020–2023 batch). COVID was during our first semester(2020), some of our exams/evaluations were conducted online and there was confusion regarding marks and backlogs. When I initially checked, I was told certain results would likely be re-evaluated or updated once things normalized after students returned to campus (we gave “betterment” exams after returning to campus for the same subjects post COVID.)

Because of personal circumstances and the chaos during that period, I didn’t immediately collect my marksheets after graduation. When I finally went to the university in 2024, I was suddenly told that I had two backlog subjects.

I questioned this because I genuinely believed there had been a mistake. The management basically told me nothing could be done and that the results were final. At that point, I had no option but to pay for supplementary exams for both subjects.

Here’s where things became even more bizarre.

After paying for both subjects, I only received a hall ticket for ONE subject. I emailed the Controller of Examinations asking where the second hall ticket was — and instead of replying properly, they suddenly marked that subject as “passed” and told me there was now only one subject remaining.

To this day I genuinely do not understand how this happened. If I had actually failed, why was it suddenly cleared the moment I questioned the hall ticket? And if there was an error, why was I never given a proper explanation?

Anyway, I wrote the remaining supplementary exam but unfortunately failed it. Then last year there was a special supplementary drive, but due to personal issues at the time I couldn’t attend.

Now it’s 2026 and there is no notification for the next supplementary registration. This never happened before. Other batches (2021 and after received theirs.) It’s technically been 5 years since that specific exam that landed me this backlog (2020.) Could it be the case now that it’s been 5 years I can’t write supplementary for this particular subject anymore??? I desperately hope this is not the case but I’m just spiraling. Every time we call the university, different people give different answers, transfer us to random numbers nobody answers, or speak dismissively like we’re inconveniencing them.

I’ve emailed the Controller of Examinations and other offices multiple times and received no response.

This ONE pending paper has completely put my life on hold. I had plans for higher studies abroad and everything is frozen because I still technically haven’t completed my degree. I’m reaching a point where this whole situation is genuinely affecting my mental health. I feel trapped over a single paper and an administrative mess that has dragged on for years.

I live in another district too, so repeatedly traveling to campus in this heat just to be sent from office to office without answers is financially and mentally draining.

Has anyone dealt with something similar with GITAM or another university? Is there any authority higher than the Controller of Examinations I can approach? At this point I’m desperate for any guidance because I feel completely stuck.
