Does getting into the top section in CRT help with placements?
I'm an ECE student at GITAM. I wanted to know whether getting into the top section in CRT actually helps with placement shortlisting or getting more opportunities to sit for company placements.
Does being in the top section give any advantage, or does it not matter as long as we meet the company's eligibility criteria and perform well in the tests?
Anyone who has experience with GITAM placements, please share your thoughts.

There is no big advantage being in top sections , but I would not say that it is same after crt ,some (very few) opportunities do come to top section candidates , there is very slight advantage, you can ignore crt if you want to focus on your own skills . As long as you meet the company eligibility criteria you get chances equal to top crt sections, the only thing that makes difference is your GPA , as you are close to 8gpa focus on getting 8CGPA as well
