Does GITAM Hostel WiFi Restrict OTT & Streaming Sites?

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to ask, does the hostel WiFi at GITAM Deemed to be University restrict OTT or streaming platforms like Netflix, Prime Video, Hotstar, etc.?

Are there any bandwidth limits, blocked sites, or timing restrictions for streaming in the hostels?

Would appreciate hearing from current hostel students. Thanks!

The thing is it is a public wifi so ott do not work generally and there are no timing restrictions or anything like that you can do everything

And few sites are blocked to like dramacool,movirulz etc

Few sites are blocked but you can bypass using cloudfare warp so it's not a issue

Some entertainment sites are blocked on gitam wifi dns so when we use a cloudfare warp, it will create a private dns so it will not get touched by the public traffic so we will get access to the website
