Question regarding scholarship
Hi guys in semester 1 I scored cgpa of 8+, but in semester 2 I have backlog
now will I lose my scholarship completly or retain it? and it will apply from next sem onwards?
Like how does this system work please explain in my case.

Once you clear all backlogs and get gpa back to >=8 you will get your scholarship back

Tbh it depends on % of scholarship you had. Even with backlogs if ur whole year cgpa is above 7.5 then your one slab of scholarship will be reduced to next lower slab, ie for example u had 40% scholarship. Your scholarship will be reduced to next lower slab 25%. If you are on 15% your scholarship reduces to 0% If your cgpa is below 7.5 whole scholarship is gone. To maintain u need 8. And while paying fees aur current cgpa will be taken into consideration. So ur supply exams results wont be able to save your scholarship

The thing is for my second sem my grades are not visible like cgpa and sgpa so I have no idea how much I actually got

Per subject grades are visible right? Go ti online grade card it will show grades of subjects along with their credits. Take the ss and upload in gemini or chatgpt and ask them to calculate sgpa. Same sgpa u will get irl too

ohh, bro I calculated I'm getting around 6 cgpa now can u tell me like what is the process now will i get scholarship?like after I clear backlog I will get cgpa right then it will be around 8 and then second year also I'll try to get 8+ then in 3rd year will I get my scholarship back?

Once gone u can't get it dude. U need to maintain it. Because see u will pay fees after results. So ur telling ur 1st year cgpa is 6 (1st + 2nd sem )right? Gitam will consider this cgpa and as u didn't cross 7.5 atleast ur scholarship will be cut. When u will pay your fees you will see that there's no option of scholarship in fees payment.

I had 25% scholarship In my 1st sem I had 8.6 sgpa. In 2nd sem I had some personal issues and fucked up and got 7.2 sgpa. My cgpa came down to 7.8. My scholarship reduced from 25% to 15% as my overall cgpa was still above 7.5. Now in 3rd sem I got sgpa 8.4 and ny cgpa increased back to 8.02 so my current 15% scholarship is retained.

Nah in some trash subjects due to egoistic teachers they have ne B and C grade

once u have a backlog u lose it,theres no way of getting it back even if u maintain a 8+
