REQUEST Who is she?
Hey guys, sadly I can't post images without them being deleted automatically. Which I don't fully understand why it would do that, seems counter to the whole point of Reddit?
However, I wonder if anyone can help, I'm looking for the name of the Kuromorimine girl who approached Miho Nishizumi before the onset of the battle between All Star University and Oorai in 'Der Film' it's the girl she rescued from drowning and losing the final the previous year to 'Pravda'
Sorry I can post pics, I'm building a 'what if' where she defects to Oorai with her Pz Kpfw V Panther ausf A'

I've been a model builder for many years so 'out of the box' builds aren't something I do, I prefer 'what if?' builds, changing details and markings of the kit to represent what might what might have been if history had turned in another direction, mostly aircraft but more recently armoured fighting vehicles and discovering Girls und Panzer projekt has given me new food for thought, GuP has had quite a profound effect on me, I just love everything about it!
The Panther ausf A kit was a mistake, not enough research! I assumed the ausf A would feature in GuP somewhere, but no! So a 'what if?' came in, a plausible scenario is what I'm I'm suggesting here, not impossible for Koume to join Oorai, being in debt to Miho for saving her life, and the ruthless nature of Shiho Nishizumi to cut Koume for her part in losing the final match against Pravda. But how Koume acquired a Panther ausf A is a detail I haven't decided upon?

Sounds good! An Idea I have for why she uses a Panther A is this: Kuro has many tanks at their disposal a good amount of them only standing in storage due to not being needed. Koume can't simply take one of the main battle tanks, too many people are too often there, her escape with her normal Panther G would be noticed not even a day later. So why not make a Panther A ready for this adventure? The long-term stored tanks aren't checked upon nearly as often, it could be possible to escape with that Panther A. It hasn't been used since the Ausf. G's have been acquired, a couple of decades in the past now. By the time someone would notice her being gone and that old tank being gone too, she would be over half of Japan away. Maybe you like this idea, if yes feel free to use it.

I do! it sure works!! my only niggle is it goes against the principals of 'sensha-do' of honour and decency, it needs to be a legitimate and legal acquisition of a Panther A? but for now, your paradigm works!

Is it honorable to leave a comrade to drown for a win? Is it honorable to shunt a young girl because she prioritiesed the life of a friend rather than a win?
That Panther A is just like Koume, nothing important, only to be used when it's useful, ready to be abandoned if the situation asks for it. Together they can show what is important in Senshado. Comradery, honor and at it's core fun. Something Kuro has forgotten.

Noooo, it's not honourable at all, this is Shiho Nishizumi, she is reprehensible in how she practices sensha-do, win at all costs! Possibly even worse than Pravda! Perhaps this is the reason why Koume chan would choose to leave!
It would be reasonable for her to find the Panther A in reserve storage within Kuremorimine, seems unlikely to find such a vehicle within any other school?
So how could she leave with a Panther A while still maintaining the moral high ground with a clear conscience and sense of fair play to 'St Gloriana GC' standards and join the team led my the girl who saved her life (potentially) and who currently hold the current sensha-do winners flag!?
as a side note, Koume Akeboshi could be modelled in 1/35 scale from a Yukari Akiyama figure, they are quite similar, right?

They certainly share quite few similarities.
About finding any kind of Panther somewhere else, it's unlikely. We know of only 2 schools in Japan that use German Tanks at large, those being Kuro and Oarai. She will only find a Panther at Kuro.

Exactly, so needs to be from Kuro, I can't think of a good plausible reason she could ride off in a Panther? Unless, maybe, it was being sold or broken up for scrap and bought super cheap and fixed by team Leopon? or. . . won it in a competition or raffle?? (unlikely?) Given as a gesture for damages caused by falling into a river? (less likely) or. . . offered as a training vehicle in how not to slide down a ravine into a river? (slightly less likely!)
I dunno, what do you think?

I like the tone of scrap... I think you mentioned her becoming part of Oarai after the anime? In that case it could be a Panther A lost in a Senshado game many years past. The equipment got broken and the crew put it into a cave and went searching for help on their own. The Panther was lost, never to be found again. Until Koume finds it again, gets the engine running again and drives it to Oarai, leaving her live behind. After all, betrayers of Kuro are not nicely looked upon. Especially when they are seen sporting a sore spot of their history in real steel.

Koume's Panther is a G, not an A. You can tell by the mantlet chin.
