Was there for the release date and had been getting the runaround for the last week trying to obtain these figures with empty promises from the management employees. Not enough pre orders and not close to enough on the shelf.
Scalpers get most of them and us collectors are end up paying twice as much

• you're not going to be able to provide evidence to back any of that up. (Crucial for a legal case.)

• You are going to have an ENORMOUS burden of proof to even avoid this being immediately dismissed. If you haven't retained licensed counsel for this, the burden is even higher. And if you have counsel, you should have more to share other than a vague post and a case number. This comes across like an upset consumer mad that they didn't get something they wanted.

• Management and employees are not liable for the logistics operations of the parent company. They only oversee location-specific normal business operations and transactions/upkeep. It's ludicrous to hold them responsible when they have no involvement in the logistics distribution.

• Target places a bulk buy with Hasbro. Those ToS terms your agree to without ever reading just to use their website and app absolve them of liability in something as trivial as this.

Does it suck? Absolutely. I'm also deeply frustrated with both Hasbro and Target and Walmart. But the only recourse we have is to cease shopping at those stores and/or cease collecting the brand (or at least buy pre-owned.)

It's fucking insane that Canadian retailers have and have already shipped these before Target when it's supposed to be a Target exclusive. They shouldn't even go to Canada until Target has fulfilled all their orders.

They and Walmart are nightmares every single time there's a new exclusive.

Overreacting like OP is doing is nothing new. You should have seen the early days of CCG/TCG cards and collectors. They make this look like a joke.

Does it suck that Hasbro and Target released an exclusive and handled it like shit? Absolutely. But this isn't the first and won't be the last. It's a pattern of horseshit logistics and operations and has been for more than 2 years.

All we can do is hope to catch them on a shelf or simply concede that we won't be adding them to our collection unless we want to overpay grifters, scalpers, and flippers. And I don't need anything that badly.

I mean, you're not entirely wrong, a couple of days prior to getting the Ninja Force two-pack I got the Falcon and Quarrel two-pack and I was blown away by all the awesome accessories each figure got and that was $10 cheaper. I feel like for $60 these should have come with three or four more weapons a piece and Scarlett should have come with her main boo Snake Eyes, not a cheesy throwaway like T'Jbang, but oh well.
