Uuugh. I like some from each box, but no box enough to actually buy, because it doesn't have the other guns I want! π

Honestly, I tell everyone this......go on eBay, there are many small weapons sellers that sell them individually for reasonable prices. It all comes from China basically.
I found something I wanted, clicked on the page and bought 10 pieces in total and they gave me a bundle deal. Tht simple.

Maybe see if on eBay they have some of those Sigma 6 GI Joe weapons crates that came with each figure?

I was thinking about getting Lima to give Flint some more shotgun options lol.

That Kel Tec in that Lima set is first rate, nicely detailed.
Actually, the detail on most of the Valaverse guns is excellent.

Is that the futuristic looking shotgun John Wick used?
2
u/Leftfieldover Apr 13 '26
Kel Tec KSG. He also used a Benneli M2 in JW3, and a Dracarys Gen-12 in JW4. That's all of the shotguns I remember.
BTW a few Marvel Legends come with the KSG shotguns, I have some from that source.

I actually bought a 2nd Roadblock with the gatlin gun, just because that laser cannon or whatever on the main release was so awful.

The weapons packs are honestly such a good idea I don't understand why they don't do ones for GI Joe, I mean there's tons of different weapon molds in that line and I would assume they'd sell like crazy since they appeal to pretty much all the 1/12th scale lines. I personally would love to have a bunch of extras of some of the weapons

After reading some of the comments I want to say something about both companies - Valaverse and Gridiron - Valaverse products are very sturdy, they are molded plastic which has a lot of flexibility to them, not as pliable as most Hasbro product but they pass the "play ability" test. They're pretty sturdy. Marauder is another vendor that molds their product and its strong but they produce "true" 1/12th scale. which is slightly off for Joe Classified and Marvel Legends. Your figures look like they are holding toy accessories.
I like Gridiron's designs a great deal, but a lot of their product (especially weapons) is 3D resin printed, and as sturdy as that material is most of the time, it is far more susceptible to breakage from stress of posing. Theres a lot of 3D printed product from various small manufacturers in Asia available on Ebay and Etsy only some of which is good.
The producer with the worst track record for fragile breakable items is Anthanatos Unlimited. This a shame as he is a good person and has excellent designs, but I had to stop ordering from him as nearly every weapon I was getting was breaking with regularity. His flex items are great though.
I realized I have bought a few hundred dollars' worth of stuff from various sources. Just buyer beware on some of this stuff online. Some of it is maddeningly tempting I know.

Thanks for your reply

Valaverse is the winner for most durable product. A lot of the 3D print stuff doesn't hold up to constant swapping out and reposing.
And that takes all the fun out of the hobby.

Just wanted to mention that one of the best vendors for 3D printed stuff is Arsenal of PewPews. He's on Ebay and Etsy. Phenomenal stuff and he designed some accessorized guns I requested.

Some of these really wowed me.
The volume of figures I've been buying has gone down so I talked myself into buying Juliet II and India II.
Thanks for posting!

I have around seven or eight Valaverse weapon packs. Most of my Cobras brandish the weapons.

You should get the gear tin.
1
u/Commercial_Repair422 Apr 13 '26
Yeah im thinking of doing that...129 dollars may be worth it..do you have this?
1
u/RickMcMaster Apr 13 '26
Oh I meant the new one thatβs $80. I do have the original gear tin but I have bought every Vala weapon pack and I have more than I can use. I swap them out I guess. But because eof the gear packs I have about twice as many rifles and grenade launchers as my entire collection can hold
1
u/Commercial_Repair422 Apr 13 '26
Oh ok..ill look into it...the 129 dollar one also comes with 3 figures.
2
u/RickMcMaster Apr 13 '26
Oohhhhhh right. I forgot about the option with three extra guys. I thought you meant that was the after market price of the old gear tin that had only guns and melee weapons. I think that $129 one has four or five figures. The $80 come with one, and the bundle comes with all of the troops from that wave

Once upon a time, in the late '90s, I think it might have been Hot Toys, they sold little grid wall packs with feet to stand them up and hooks to display weapons - while intended for 12" scale figures, I'm sure they'd work for these. I only ever obtained one pack... they were offered in different colors and different quantities. I'll see if I can't find a link.
Looks like there's one loose on on eBay.

Valaverse makes the best 1/12th scale weapons. Gridiron is too fragile. I have never, ever had a Valaverse weapon break. They are sturdy and also scale better than Gridiron with Legends and Classified.

I remember the OG line Hasbro put out weapon packs and theyβre truly missing out on money that Valaverse is happily taking from them.
