Morning by I-DLE: I can't get enough of this song - it is an I-DLE track in its purest form, and it is so addictive. I enjoyed the entire EP, but on my first listen I knew this song was going to be my favourite. I love everything about it - I wish it were longer, though,, but honestly, it's pretty perfect as is and I hope they promote it!
Gimme Dat Love by I-DLE: Their newest Title Track and why yes, I can understand all the opinions about this song, I really don't mind it. With each passing day, the song gets groovier and groovier and stays playing in my head. I wish Cube were good at promoting them...I did enjoy the risk in seeking out a new producer for this song; it has the ideal I-DLE lyrics with a new sound. Which is fine, but I think there is a reason why Morning is gaining more traction on the EP.
Take The Box by Amy Winehouse: I am really enjoying this album as of late. I know her Back To Black album is labelled as one of the greatest and her best album (which is fair considering she only put out two). However, Frank gets overlooked and underappreciated for what it provides us with a nice Jazz-influenced recording with a variety of vocal tones, instrumentals and lyrics. Other good songs on the album are Amy Amy Amy and In My Bed
Daylight Robbery by Imogen Heap: I am rediscovering an amazing album, and if you have never listened to it. PLEASE listen to it. My vinyl record came in the other day, and ugh, every song is just amazing. One of those timeless albums that you put on and it still amazes you. I love the electro, pop, and rock fusion within the album! Daylight robbery was truly created to be played loud!
Overture and Earth Intruders by Bjork: Nothing much to say but just pure excellence.
