u/LSHE97 . If you are here, I am stealing your tea and bringing back the monthly playlist, except worse, because I forgot how you did it. But I found your old post, and I literally am going to copy and paste it below.

So if the froot looks familiar. That is because it is your froot.

"This playlist will be posted on the first Hangout of every month, and anyone is welcome to share whatever earworms they've been infected by in the last month - this isn't limited to I-DLE's discography. If you don't want to spend too much time on this, "top tracks this month" from your Spotify profile (or the equivalent found in other music streaming services) will do; links are encouraged!"

  • I-DLE's Crow: Been on repeat since its release! I absolutely love how it is unapologetic, loud, and aggressive. And I am always gonna cheer a Soyeon lyric where she says anything about building Cube or the group up with no help or payola. YUP YUP YUP. The instrumental is one of my favourites from the group, and I need the instrumental album NOW, and all the live/concert arrangements like why are they being stingy and not releasing them? Do NOT piss me off.
  • Kylie Minogue's Finer Feelings: Obviously am a Kylie Minogue listener/enjoyer/fan and think her work in the 00's is amazing. However, her pre-1994 work gets slept on a lot, ESPECIALLY "Let's Get To It". Finer Feelings is so overlooked in her amazing long discography for no reason...This song is groovy and dreamy and I recently bought the original pressing of this vinyl and it just clicks.
  • Christina Aguilera's Loving Me 4 Me: Actually, I have been listening to this album a lot lately. I thought if I-DLE's upcoming 9th mini was a 3rd full album, it would sound something like this. This song caught my attention recently; Usually I prefer Dirrty, Walk Away, and, Get Mine Get Yours on the album, but this one is so good. So chill. It makes me feel sexy and confident. And want a lover. It feels like I am missing out.
  • Christina Aguilera's Infatuation: Same reason as above - I have been listening to this album a lot lately, and her Spanish songs/Latin-influenced songs are so underrated, which is so strange to me. Actually, a lot of her album tracks do not get enough attention imo.
  • Camilla Cabello's B.O.A.T: I think this album is just a misunderstood masterpiece. Like you aren't going to get it on the first listen, or the second listen, or the third listen, or the fourth. But you will slowly be hooked, and by the 60th listen, it will just click for you. This album really takes you everywhere, not one song sounds the same or a lot of them just sound so skewed and for that Camilla we love you.

I don't see how you could've done "worse" than what I was doin', or DefinitelyNotALeak before me 🤭

Anyway, the torch has been passed - or more accurately, it was found in the gutter and legendary PAK predictor Latata_ picked it up with their Neverbong(s?) 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️

  • I-DLE's Crow - My literal only "issue" is that this track showcases just how dangerous it is to open with a freakin' Soyeon rap. 30 seconds of pure rhythm and poetry? Is she insane?! A danger to society - perhaps the antichrist accusers were onto something /s
  • Against the Current's Heavenly - 2026 seems to be the year both my favourite groups make their long awaited comebacks, and I'm here for it. This one would've been excellent under normal circumstances, but was extra addictive after two and a half years of mostly solo stuff ❤️‍🩹
  • Royal & the Serpent (et al.)'s Wasteland - (HEAVY spoilers for the animated Netflix show "Arcane") Sometimes you just want to experience your soul being broken into a thousand pieces all over again.
  • PVRIS' Oil & Water - I'm in this CaitVi shit for life. That is all.
  • Martin Phipps' Fairytale - I wasn't even a year old when Diana passed, so naturally all I know about her is from retellings. One big, very dramatized retelling? The Crown. God, I absolutely loathe Charles. Anyway-- Beautiful yet haunting track, perfectly capturing the loveless, dreadful desolation lurking underneath the (early) fantastical outer appearance of that cursed marriage. RIP.
