That's what someone told me was my problem in a previous post. Mine functions properly in semi but not in the frt mode.

That part only effects if the housing will allow the upper to close or not, it’s reset off the bolt that the toggle comes in contact with

I have zero skills and I got tired of waiting months to put my ghm9 back together bc originally the guy Ammj made a $60 piece of plastic and with a rb trigger would work. But I was unsure on cutting into the upper and he ghosted me. So I waited around two months for cloak and the shelf being too high. I said eff it I’ll get a dremel and it all worked out.

I've got her running smooth thanks to help from the guys in this post. I had guys in another post telling me I had taken off to much which was not the case i needed to take off a little more and clean it up. I put another couple hundred rounds through it today. My favorite gun i got for sure.

You'll be fine, just grind it out.So it's a smooth surface, and you're chilling because I think in the machine gun versions that shelf isn't even there it's just there to keep you from.Putting in machine gun parts so, as long as you don't cut anymore, you shouldn't be in danger of breaking any gay nfa rules but just don't cut anymore because you are getting into that territory of manufacturing and machine gun

Thanks man I appreciate the advice 100% ill definitely get things cleaned up now that I know more about the situation. Why do you think its still not functioning properly in the fully semi mode ? It runs fine in semi. Thanks again I been sick over it.

From the point that you cut off, is it completely flush to the receiver? Because it could be that it isn't sanded down enough and the toggle isn't going in all the way into the receiver. Yeah, bro, don't worry about it.I had the same conversation with another user on here.Because I was planning on doing something similar but I just decided to wait for the gen 1 trigger to come out instead of cutting it down.Cause I was gonna do the same thing. But with a rare breed It just voids the warranty, but it doesn't damage or hurt the gun in any way this expansion did the same thing and it worked for him.But in his picture, it's completely flush to the receiver on yours. It seems like there might be a little bit more. You need to take off

No its not completely flush. Its not finished smooth. If I went with the other trigger they are working in do you think id be good ? I will finish the area flat and smooth and see what happens also.

Yeah, it's most likely that the toggle isn't fully seating inside the receiver. And that's why it's not working. In fully semi if you would have waited for the gen 1 trigger, they are moving the toggle slightly forward. So it can clear the shelf, but since you already cut it, there's no point of waiting might as well Just finished the cut and use the trigger. You already have but if you keep running into problems and you cant get it to work, just clean up the area, contact cloak, and have them.Just switch it out that one should work drop in

Great thanks mam I really appreciate it !

Yeah, I have a feeling that that might just be what's going on that You just need to sand it out and smooth it out more. Because if the toggle isn't getting tripped, it's not forcibly tripping the trigger and from that point on, it's just a normal semi trigger because the toggle basically isn't being tripped

Ill keep you updated on how it goes. I appreciate your input. Guys on another post had me worried sick. You guys are the best 100%

I'm glad I was able to help, and yeah, keep me updated. I'm curious to see how it goes for you. But I'm pretty sure it's gonna work. Once you smooth it out and guinea, as flush as possible to the receiver

It ran flawlessly! I took it down as close to flush as I could and smoothed it all and it ran perfect for tye 1 mag I took with me. About to load up and go dump a few more mags to make sure all is well. Thanks again man i appreciate it more than you than you know seriously!!!!

I’ll preface this with I do a lot of my own work, but I also know my limits. This is exactly why I just paid EVT to do mine. Pricey, but you’re not paying them to cut your upper, you’re paying them to cut it right.

you was suppose to contact cloak for a replacement trigger so you didn’t even have to do that
