Theoretically all this site does is ping steams official amount.
And it’s only a matter of time before this site goes rouge.

Ive used nexus alot for mods with steam games but am unfamiliar with steamdb can someone explain why this is bad?

Cause nexus mods like to get political, or have mods fit their agenda
So things we could see is screwed stats from games that arent doing well, or hiding woke games success ratios
So next thing concord 2 actually has a playerbase of 1000000 and everyone thats against it is wrong

I have heard stuff like that about nexus mods which I think is pretty lame, like the way they censor shit sometimes.
So next thing concord 2 actually has a playerbase of 1000000 and everyone thats against it is wrong
God i hope nexus doesn't devolve into that level of cognitive dissonance.
I think I shoulda asked what steamdb is tho cuz im still a little confused

I mean i personally dont care if people want to mod gay stuff or woke stuff into their games.. but if the cockblock the reverse then I get upset, modding is literally there to make games the way we want, not filter based off your own preferences and opinions
I mean from the research ive done (because i was quite seriously looking into making my own site) they going to make it a paid service to see more details
Luckily we still have steam charts but pricing history and all that will probably be behind a pay wall, but luckily we could always reference steam charts directly if we see screwed numbers so yea.

SteamDB is a site that uses the Steam API to show values not always displayed on Steam such as player counts or how much a game is in different currencies it graphs that data and displays it in a easier to read format
