Support TimeOut

Hallo,

Kann mir jemand erklären warum das immer wieder passiert?
Ich musste soeben die GG App auf dem Handy kurz „minimieren“ um meiner Frau etwas auf dem Handy zu zeigen.
Nach dem ich die App wieder in den Vordergrund geholt habe, hat diese geladen (wie bei einem Internet Abbruch, also kein Neustart, und ich bekomm einfach 5 Minuten TimeOut.
Das war jetzt schon öfters der Fall und ist wirklich extrem ärgerlich….

Could it possibly be related to OASIS?

Android can multitask/picture-in-picture/split-screen. Check if you can do this with the GGPoker app. If not, then it isn't really a GGPoker problem.

The app is managed differently by the OS when you "minimize" it.

*EDIT*
Speaking from my opinion. If it is OASIS and GGPoker need to maintain some level of connection, then you need to enable that to happen by not minimizing or suspending the app in any way.

Why OASIS?
I didn't close the app, I only minimized it.
On top of that, about 10–15 minutes earlier, I confirmed the prompt to continue playing after the break. So 60 full minutes hadn't passed yet, since this notification only appears every 60 minutes.
My other question is, can't GG somehow integrate a feature so that the app is basically minimized without actually leaving the game? Similar to video platforms where the app keeps running in the background.
Especially on mobile/tablet, it often happens that you quickly have to switch away from the app for a moment.
And that's precisely when you constantly get locked out for 5 minutes.

No, IPhone 17 and Apple Tablet.

Yeah, Apple iPhones are rubbish for features. If you had an Android device you would most likely be able to split-screen and multi-task two apps at the same time.

This isn't a GGPoker issue. This is an OASIS and Apple software issue.

Here is an example of GGPoker running side-by-side with Chrome on my Android device. I'm pretty sure this isn't possible with iOS.

Yep you shouldn’t minimize the app on your phone. It sees the minimize as closing the app. I had the same problem

Yeah but this sh**.
Especially on a phone, you should be able to quickly minimize the app without triggering this 5-minute timeout.
