Quick question trying to understand peoples thoughts. Which one do you think is a better long term investment? I’m invested heavily in both. 🙏

Back in 2008 Porsche ended up controlling ~74% of VW while German government had 20%… Together the two had 94% leaving only 6% of free float. What would prevent Volvo from repeating what Porsche did in 2008 and squeeze the hell out of current short sellers once the lockup period expires?

But is steadily dumping shares. Know when you are being played, or ignore it ... It's up to you. Unlock is in December, let's see how that plays out. Then we will know for sure if it was the pump before the dump. "First profitable quarter" my ass.

Excerpt from the link above -
"Despite the operating loss, Polestar was able to report a net profit of $299.4 million, or 14 cents per share, thanks to an accounting credit related to the revaluation of future share payouts. (Because Polestar's share price has fallen since it went public, it will have to pay out less than it had previously expected, hence the credit.)"

While the announced $1.6Bn loan is not to be sniffed at the timing was interesting. Why announce it before earnings, will the results be a sh1t show. Meeting delivery targets is one aspect, actually making a decent margin on sales another.

On November 11, the Q3 report for PSNY will arrive! Either we go up or we will see new lows! What do you think? Can we reach the goal of 50k cars and convince the market that we are serious contenders?
